We were given an excellent tour by the young woman on duty. She really knows her stuff
Don't miss this stop. Brochure I saw said tours only on Wednesday but marquee said daily 10 to 5.

We were lucky enough to get a tour of this theater last year. I'm so happy to see such a magical piece of history restored and being used today. This is what brought us back to Marion again this year in hopes of seeing a performance in the theater. We reserved early and were lucky to enjoy Song of the Mountains with Rhonda Vincent. The music was fantastic and the performances and music were outstanding. We truly enjoyed the concert which really made our trip.

Very nostalgic being back in Marion, VA where my parents sat in that very Theatre when they dated in the late 50's.
The renovations are wonderful keeping them in the period of the heyday.
Enjoyed being there very much.
ETSU Bluegrass band was wonderful
Good venue to enjoy their music.

Very nice venue had adequate seating room. Was handicap friendly on main level. Really enjoyed reading about and seeing some of the history for the theater. Wntering for the event was a little confusing but overall a very enjoyable experience.

Outstanding ! They're pulling in well-known names now, from Sister Hazel to Big Head Todd and the Monsters to Molly Hatchet, plus Song of the Mountains bluegrass and old-time country monthly broadcast.

Below are two photos from the sold out January 2024 Molly Hatchet show!

This was one of the most beautiful, historical theaters I have ever attended. I didn't even know this wonderful place existed until my recent visit. The history of this theater is just amazing. I attended The Warhippies concert here in April and it was just an outstanding experience. The atmosphere here is both relaxing and welcoming. The theater has been extensively remodeled and it's quite an experience to see an artist perform here. I couldn't hardly stop looking at the beautiful and lavish artwork and architecture on the walls and ceilings throughout the entire venue. I enjoyed the visual experience of the Lincoln Theatre and the concert I attended as well. I would definitely say anyone would highly enjoy seeing a band they enjoy perform here. And the staff here is second to none. Overall, I'd say this has been the best venue I've attended in a while. It was so much better than my recent visit to The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. I wish The Ryman would have the Lincoln Theatre teach their staff.

An awesome experience. We attended the Rhonda Vincent concert there in this beautifully designed historicL auditorium built in 1929. I highly recommend everyone visit this lovely place at least once. Mr Tim White invites the most talented Bluegrass musicians America has to offer.

Camping at Hungry Mother State Park. Our last day we decided to attend a tour of the Lincoln Theater. The history was really interesting. I was surprised to learn that PBS Song of the Mountains is recorded on this stage. That is a wonderful Bluegrass series.

The Lincoln Theater is the crown jewel of Marion. I travel 700 miles to come see shows like Song on the Mountains, Ralph Stanley Jr., Good Shot Judy and looking forward to the Fleetwood Mac show this summer. Good Shot Judy put on a superb performance and it was a dissapointment that so few locals didn't come out to see to them. The Lincon Theater never disappoints! Thank you Mayor Nelms for presenting Good Shot Judy the Key to the City. They were impressed and have been bragging about Marion ever since on social media!

Went to the Lincoln Theater tonight for the taping of the PBS show "Song of the Mountains." Beautifully restored Mayan theme theater. Excellent acoustics. Not a bad seat in the house. Really enjoyed the music as well. Definitely worth a visit, or two, or more when visiting Marion VA.

This has got to be the most beautiful theatre in the world! Comfortable seating, friendly staff, great sound. It was our first time at Song of the Mountains and it won't be the last. Great performances on Saturday August 5th and Tim White as MC was the icing on the cake. Loved it!!
