I rode the bus from Marion to Saltville today. The driver was Linda Farmer. I was very anxious about the trip, but her friendly manner quickly put me at ease. She was more than helpful without any complaints or hints that she did not want to do what she was doing. She put my wheelchair in and out of the bus, which I expected. Then went beyond that. She escorted me into the building and made sure I understood when she would return. Including telling me to stay inside (in the air conditioning) and she would come get me when she returned. After my appointments, I rolled down the parking lot to Pizza Plus to eat lunch. Realizing the uphill return would be more than difficult, I call and ask to pick me up there instead. When Linda came to pick me up, she was obviously happy I had something to eat. She was concerned that I might not have food. When we arrived at my house, Linda went above and beyond helping me off the bus. She helped me get my wheelchair up the steps and into the house. Without her help I don't think I could've managed. I wanted to tip her because her service was spectacular, but she refused. Tips should be allowed, voluntary yes, but allowed. Because of the service I received from Linda, I will be comfortable riding the bus. She is amazing, a valuable asset for the bus company. I hope all the drivers are a good as Linda, but I expect she is just an exceptional person. Thank you, Linda. You are wonderful.

It's a good well taken care of bus to ride. It takes one hour to take the whole loop and if you need to be taken outside the normal loop just tell them or call them and they will come get you or drop you off there.

You would love it if you tried it. My car broke down and I started to use ML and I've loved it. It's 50 cents to go anywhere in Marion basically.

At first, great, helpful filled a great need of service for residents of Smyth County,, Now I guess the demand is more then this one service can meet.
Lack of communication between dispatch, drivers, and the caller has rendered this service useless for people who are not regularly usen it..
Leaving in 10/15 min to head ur way in the rain, turned into a missed very important meeting with my Rogers, on a Friday, for needed services...That combined with a schedule that only runs two times a day from Marion to Atkins, on hwy 11,before exit 50, ,8 miles,,didn't take phone number, has wrong house address, & expected me to hear horn as they pasted over interstate noise & Royal Moldings,, very disappointed,, can't relay on this service but 2 out of 5 times,,,not drivers fault,??? Idk but can't stand in rain watching for up to 45/1 hour!!!

They never run at the times they are supposed to. You'll be at the bus stops and they don't stop.
