What a quaint place! Love the atmosphere! Food was delicious! We ordered the pork tenderloin and open face turkey sandwich. AMAZING! Didn't have room for dessert but took a piece of coconut pie togo... yummy!!! Thank you for an amazing experience!

Small town place we stopped at during a rode trip. We were greeted immediately once we entered, coffee came out hot and fresh immediately. Nice Rustic design, fun atmosphere. Food was amazing; service was amazing. A must stop.

This place was absolutely so cute and quaint!! I wish I had gotten some pictures of the food because it was so delicious! I came into town to visit with family and we were in the Franklin area and we decided on Fred's and let me tell ya it wasn't a bad decision. The food was great and the atmosphere was great and our waitress was an absolute menace. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Franklin it's very cute!! I will be back again!!

Fred Fred Fred oh my goodness. Just passing through town because my son had court so we wanted to come to a town diner so I looked places up and Fred's was first on the list. We really didn't know what to expect being this was our first time coming here. But LAWD was this place so good. Service was A1 food came out fast and hot and the portions were great. Everything and I mean everything was good. I scrapped the plate clean and so did my son. The prices were great as well too. Definitely will come back here again and again. A+++++++

We love Fred's and had visiting family with us. We checked the website to verify closing hours. We drove from Surry County to discover they were closed for a fundraising event. EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTING! Family came from Florida... so very upsetting.

Delicious food and friendly staff. They were quite busy since it was a Saturday morning, however service was very reasonable. The prices are outstanding and the food is delicious. They even have a breakfast buffet. On the way out I also discovered that they have a beautiful patio. It wasn't open in November, but this is the first place I'm taking my very picky parents when they visit next spring. Go support this family business. You won't be disappointed.

First time visit, we will definitely be back. Food was delicious and the waitress was great. Customer service over all was great from all the staff and prices were great.

The building is nice, accessories and decor fitting for the restaurant’s style, the food was tasty and plentiful and the staff were friendly, engaging, thoughtful and well prepared.

Darla was our waitress, she was most awesome! We were traveling from new York state- Florida and Texas for a funeral.. she made us feel most welcome. Food was great.

Wonderful restaurant. Lots of character. Feels like a step back in time. Was there for lunch. I had the meatloaf special with fries and green beans. Comes with a roll and butter. Friend 1 had the chicken tender dinner with coleslaw and pickled beets. Dip choices were honey mustard, ranch, BBQ, or blue cheese. They ran out of potato salad. That must be a popular side. Friend 2 had the fried pork chop dinner with beets and what i think was a corn pon. There is a bit of a wait for the food but so worth it. I wish I were a local and could go a few times a week. Portions were great. Price reasonable.

Went in tonight and had hamburger steak, mp, and beets. All was very good. Went back in and very good.

The food was outstanding breakfast and lunch. Lunch was fried Chicken best fried chicken, beþer than Moms. The seecive was great quivk and fruendly. Atmisphere is wonderful. My neice and I loved it. I will be back and when she comes to visit she wants to return too.

The best atmosphere in Franklin. People are personable and customer oriented. Dave is the owner and a great guy, too. The food was delicious and delivered promptly. Our coffee cups were topped off regularly. Dinner menu looks great, too. Coming back for that soon!

Great Spaghetti and meatballs this time. Love their country cornbread and fried chicken.

We stopped by after fishing the Nottaway River. This is this 6 ounce burger on a fresh pretzel bun with fries. I had the club & fries. Great food with good folks!

Great space for a private dinner party. Awesome Buffet Style meals available.

Chicken livers were great, waitress on time very nice I will be back.
