Nia our waitress was awesome! Now let’s talk about the food! Best collards ever! I got the classic burger and you can tell the meat was fresh! So tasty and the bun grilled perfectly! We had the potato skin app and tried the gator sauce after the initial shock of the color I couldn’t get enough!!! Hubby had the wings and was very impressed!!!! Homemade ranch was the bomb! A+! Definitely try this place if you haven’t! We will go there anytime we’re in town! We don’t get food this good often while traveling for work!

I'm Cajun and from Louisiana and I have to say the hushpuppies are the best I've ever had. Love coming here to get a taste of home. We already ate half our meal by the time I remembered to take photos

Really enjoyed this place! Was traveling for work and stopped in for dinner. I had the Mississippi Piggy. A burger topped with pulled pork and coleslaw. Great atmosphere and the staff was great to talk to.

I feel like people are gonna look at my burger and think it's burnt. I can assure you it was cooked medium just the way I requested it though and loved it. We also got the sampler appetizer. In it we got the shrimp dip, gator bites, and fried oysters. Loved everything we had there. Will return again. ✌

The hamburger steak was awesome, good flavor and good just right. The fried okra was perfectly done. Also the staff were very sweet and accommodating. Definitely will dine there again!

The perfectly seasoned creamy roux and tender rice in the shrimp etouffee at Badeaux’s Seafood Grill deserve the highest rating! A light coating on their fried shrimp let’s the flavors shine whether you choose spicy or plain. No fancy digs or service here, but you’ll want to go simply for your taste buds. Take your friends along and kick back for a relaxing, low-key, casual evening. Live music is occasionally on hand. Servers don’t rush patrons out the door. In fact, they’re so laid back, you might be ordering refills from the bar yourself.

Very good food. Had the frogs legs. They were excellent! We drove 40 something mins from north carolina to try this place and to me, it was worth it. Also the waitress was friendly and on top of her game!

This was the first time my wife and I had dinner at Badeaux's but it won't be the last.The service was great and the food was excellent.FYI start with the Cajun wings.Great job Badeaux's

The staff is very kind, helpful and patient. My son and I enjoyed our food, I had the Phill Steak burger on the onion roll🤤 My son had the Rodeo burger without the onion ring. Also the fried Alligator was delicious!

Very laid back atmosphere. First time eating in South Boston, VA and definitely not disappointed. Fried catfish was delicious and the waitress was kind and welcoming.

I had freshly battered oysters, shrimp, hush puppies, and gator bites. Our waitress and the staff were very sweet. Plan to frequent this location whenever in the area.

The food was delicious, the waitress we had had only been a few days but she was very nice.

This was my first time I had the gator bites and the frog leg dinner everything was good I will definitely go back again

Such an amazing hidden gem! We came in on a slow Sunday and the food was great! Mark, the Chef and Manager, is amazing! He walked us through how the food is prepped and made. We would have never imagined this little hidden place would have had such fresh food and care. We are instant regulars now! Thanks Mark and team!
