Edgewater Lodge

This place is slowly becoming our family vacation go-to spot! Jackie is so helpful and you can’t beat the view. Having food onsite just makes this place the perfect oasis for relaxation. We can’t wait for our upcoming trip!

Room was amazing with view of water. Staff was very nice! Foid truck was great and love the seating areas too outside and access to water! Surrounded by lots to do and short drive to Key West

Love this place! Many members of our family stay here at various times. Our last stay was great! I rented additional days for my family and they enjoyed it! The addition of the food truck was awesome! Excellent food and staff! Hubby said he would drive all the way down for the pork! The Staff who run the office are super nice and very helpful! We look forward to our next trip !

This place is a paradise is most definitely 5 out of 5 stars! . Management has been excellent and everyone has been very nice to us. Everyone has an experience but our entire experience has been completely exceptional, My family love this place. This is our second time here. And every stay is better. They have friendly and courtesy staff. Front desk guys is super nice and professional same as security people. Rooms are clean and comfortable for small or big family. They make an upgrade, and now, they are to much better. Now they have a food truck which is very good and convenient for woman. We don’t need to worry for preparing food for our kids. It’s a quiet and safety place. I don’t have enough word to describe this beautiful place. I cannot finish my review with out mention the beach. Definitely I love it. Also perfect location. Near to the road. You can’t miss this opportunity. If you are planning to visit Florida Key come here. You deserve it.

Excellent service and staff! Super friendly, courteous, and helpful! Excellent location with a peaceful, relaxing, quiet atmosphere and that is why we keep coming back! Fishing off the piers, beautiful sunsets, and exploring in the ocean just outside the rooms are our favorite! The pool is fun, along with the grills, hammocks, corn hole, tiki huts with tables, lots of lizards running around, etc! We love that the office has ice cream, bait and ice which is super convenient! The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy! Thanks for always giving us the best stay in Long Key, our favorite!

This place is amazing. The view was beautiful. If your looking for a cozy place on the water with beautiful sunsets this s is the place. It was very mesmerizing. The hotel owner, management, and staff were amazing and very quick to honor any need you may have. We are looking forward to our next trip there and will be able to bring our own boat to dock

My husband and I love coming here. The view is amazing. I notice there are some changes, but I believe it's for the better. The rooms were clean. The beach was great.
The entire location is very well kept. Everyone who works there are very hospitsble. Great crew. I was sad I couldn't enjoy the new food truck but that's ok they were not open yet so I will next time. In my opinion one of the best places in the keys.

I made a pit stop while traveling from miami to key west. We loved the location and I would book it for sure in here rather than in key west for stay.

We spent a week here at Edgewater Lodge and our "kids" flew down to meet us here for a mid-winter vacation from Michigan's cold temps. Being lodge owners ourselves, we knew what we were looking for and the kind of getaway we needed. Finding good waterfront lodging at a decent rate isn't easy in the Florida Keys, but Edgewater delivered!
The townhouse is beautifully furnished and perfectly situated on the water - the ocean and sunset views from our living room and bedroom were simply gorgeous. The kitchen is well stocked for the kind of cooking we do as a family. Downstairs is beach access with cabanas, lounge chairs and charcoal grills, for cooking right on the beach. Thankfully, this place is quiet and peaceful, with no parties or loud music.
Centrally located in the Middle Keys, all of the sights the Keys offer were a short distance in either direction.
We have now found a place for our annual winter vaca and look forward to Edgewater Lodge every year!

Great Staff They even let us borrow some waders. The campsites were clean we loved the laundromat and bathrooms and just fishing off the dock was amazing. This campsite wasn’t as crowded as the other ones we were looking at and there were no bugs or mosquitoes like other places close to the water. I would definitely recommend staying here And we will definitely be back. The staff was super friendly and super helpful and had some great advice and helped us out with Fishing. This was my kids favorite place in Alaska just fishing off the Kenai River.

Such a wonderful place ! We most definitely will stay here again ! The staff were very nice n very helpful ! My husband caught a nurse shark, hammer head shark, and 2 big eels from the dock. We saw manatee, sea turtles, jelly fish, sting ray, n other colorful fish from the dock. They sell bait in the office which was a great convenience. The property manager was so nice n so helpful. We had one small problem n it was fixed immediately. We stayed in a cottage and it was clean n roomly. The property is decorated so cute. I highly recommend staying here if you like smaller resorts !!

There’s a reason why this place gets 4.5 stars with reviews. It’s very clean, perfectly located, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Scott went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Waterfront balconies are ideal for keeping an eye on your boat. We stayed in unit 18 which has an upper and lower balcony. Keep in mind these units are not new and modern, but they are perfect for what we needed. Cleanliness was excellent. We plan to return soon!

My husband and I stayed here for four days. We absolutely loved it. The location is perfect for guests bringing their own boat like us. Also the service was amazing. John the property manager gave us excellent service. He was there for anything and everything we needed. We are looking forward to our next stay here. This place is an absolute gem. We stayed for 2 nights and can't forget the experience of staying at this place. You wake up and step out right at the ocean. Watch sunset from your porch. Rooms were clean and simple. Post our arrival in afternoon we had plans for the day but once in the room we dropped all our plans and just planned to spend rest of the afternoon in the water. We would definitely go here again and recommend anyone to give this place a try.
Staff is very friendly and are ready to answer any question on local choices. This is place where you can watch sunrise as well as sunset.

Nice location. Clean and staff was friendly and accommodating. Short drive to restaurants and beaches, parks dolphin encounters etc. Grills are roomside which we loved. Small beach and pool. Its great. We aren't very needy. Small store with bait. Beer drinks etc. Beautiful 2.5 mile bike/walking path across the ocean..need I go on? ? Amazing

Everything about this place was awesome. It was laid back. The staff was awesome. The property manager, Johnny was so accommodating and helpful. We had an issue with our first room and without a question he got us into a new one no problem. The set up of this place is fantastic. This is a great place to stay if you wanna fish and get away from it all.

I wish my husband and I could have spent more time here. I was expecting a little motel room with maybe a water view, a place we would stay for just 10 hours or so - but Edgewater Lodge was incredible! Our room had a large living room, kitchen, balcony, and king bedroom. Our entire suite faced the water and docks. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, and everything was very clean and quiet. We checked in after the office closed, but they left instructions for us to get inside our room. In the morning, we explored the docks and the rest of the property, all of which are so cozy and relaxing. I would love to return and spend a full week here. If you’re debating between Edgewater Lodge and another hotel or resort - choose Edgewater. It is a gem.

This place is our go to place when we go to the Keys. The staff is amazing. Christian and Scott took great care of us. I have stayed here 5 times and every time I am never let down. The rooms are clean, the pool is clean and they have plenty of outdoor seating including hammocks.
