Sea Bird Marina - is a down to earth, friendly, family owned marina in the middle keys 12 miles west of Islamorada. The marina is very well protected and offers great shelter. It offers an easy access boat ramp, fuel, complete bait shop with a variety of tackle, and friendly neighbors. If you enjoy easy access to the bay and ocean, great fishing, and a laid back, non-commercial atmosphere you can’t go wrong.

We drove from Canada parked our truck and trailer here longterm and made use of the on site boat launch. Once we were here and saw the nice new docks we decided to book a slip for a month before touring the keys. Power and water at the slips ,gas, a store with bait and other goodies also a washroom shower and some other land accommodations that people seemed to be enjoying with a boat slip right out front. Family run business in a nice smaller marina with a great friendly vibe.

Look no further - the crew at the Sea Bird Marina has all you need and more ... The best boat launch in the Keys, plenty of slips, parking for your vehicle, gas, live bait, storage and they even have accommodations where you can open up the patio door and you're only steps from your beloved boat (WHAT!!!) Did I mention they're a family run business (three generations making sure the operation runs smooth as possible). We couldn't ask for a better family to work with. Thanks for the greatest experience!!! We will be back again and again.

We kept our boat there over night for 4 days. One night out of the water on the trailer, and 2 nights in a boat slip ( in the water) the staff was so helpful and trustworthy. Love this place. Will be back. Oh, also HUGE tarpon that they feed. Super cool to see

Sea Bird is very accommodating on their rentals and their boats are the best in the area. Good people.

This marina was recommended to us for renting a boat by some other campers at Long Key State Park. We great folks. The women at the marina showed use where to go snorkeling. It was incredible!! we saw dolphin, and spotted rays on our why out to the snorkeling spot. Once in the ocean we saw turtles..WOW... At the light house we snorkeled at the water was so clear and so many fish. This was the highlight of our trip. I just want to say thank you to the folks at Sea Bird Marina for directing us to such incredible locations to snorkeling and boating and for being so friendly. The boat was perfect, clean and everything worked. Nice family run business.

Love it or hate it. Most depends on your own attitude and actions. I ❤ SeaBird Marina. I own a house about three miles away and have used this marina for several years now. It is a small, family owned and family friendly business. There are massive tarpon in the marina every time I go there. They recently did some remodeling and the place looks better than ever. Obey the rules, respect the environment and you’ll be enjoy it too.

What most vacationers (and angry one star reviewers) don’t understand, is that a large majority of people come down here to party and don’t respect the Keys. What may seem heavy handed can sometimes be necessary to “nip poor behavior in the bud”. Think about it from their perspective. Can you imagine all of the rude, irresponsible behavior they have witnessed?

I’m just glad that they respond to all of those rude reviews. I hate to admit it, but I got a real kick out of SeaBird’s responses. 🙃

My family and I rented a boat with them last week. The staff was very courteous and helpful and recommended a snorkeling spot that was amazing. Location is great and very close to a few popular reefs and fishing spots. Prices were reasonable and they did not overcharge for fuel upon return of the boat. I would definitely do business with them again.

We had a great experience with the marina and its owners! We definitely plan on coming back. Our stay at the marina rental home was relaxing and perfect for us and our pups. We had absolutely no issues with the owners, they were extremely accommodating.

I can't say enough good things about this place. So much fun and great location. Friendly folks and keys laid back. They don't put up with too much silly stuff here creating a fun safe place to rent a boat and go fish.

Hidden Gem of Islamorada! My Wife and I stayed at the Sea Bird Marina recently for our anniversary. We couldn't of had a better experience. If you're looking for a clean, affordable marina that's in the best location for boating then look no further. We will definitely be back! Boat was in top condition. They have all the bait and supplies you need for a day on the water. Great location close to the best fishing grounds.

My boyfriend, his family and I were visiting the keys this past weekend. We used Sea Bird Marina to launch and to keep my boyfriends trailer here. The staff was very helpful and accommodating with everything. The little store was stocked with what we needed. Everyone was friendly and efficient when stocking up and getting out for the days adventures.
They even let us hand feed the tarpon hanging around right before heading home which was super neat!

I’ve been coming to Sea Bird Marina for over 10 years! Perfect location for boat ramp, rentals, lodging, bait & tackle, apparel, and wildlife viewing! Prices are fair, and good to see that they continue to keep the business family-owned and operated. Looking forward to my next trip down to the Keys and Sea Bird Marina visit.

Very knowledgeable and very friendly, kind and thoughtful owners and staff. Perfect place to rent, launch, or dock your boat. Clean, organized, safe, affordable, and not overly crowded, is to maneuver in and out. We had a week of safe happy boating, our boat was clean, ran perfect and easy on the fuel budget. Easy to reach Tennessee Reef, and Alligator.
Nice peaceful part of the keys, Layton and Long key.
Highly recommend this place to my best friends and family.

Ramp worked great for launching my World Cat 32. Easy in and out. Staff was helpful and gave me some good tips.

Well our trip to Islamorada started off great and then went quickly down hill. Trailer problems the whole way down starting in the middle of Alligator Alley and ended up limping in to Sea Bird on 3 wheels. The friendly and courteous staff and customers of this Marina worked with me to get my boat in the water. I did not experience the same service that others have. I just used the ramp for getting my boat in the water. I did not store my boat, trailer, or any vehicles at this location over night.

Details: Since our trailer was on 3 wheels the ride height of the trailer was too low to clear the grade of the ramp. With the help of many we were able to jack the boat off the hitch, flip the ball and successfully get the boat unloaded in to the water damage free. This marina may not be the fanciest but if you are looking for some nice Floridians to help get your boat wet this is a very convenient and nice location.

Boat is a 30 foot concept.

We had a great experience renting a boat from Sea Bird. It's a family business and Lynn was a great help with getting us going. Great information on fishing & snorkeling spots and things to watch out for. The boat was also in great condition with a new motor. They let us use their slip and come and go as we liked.

Definitely would rent again from Sea Bird!
