Anastasia Baptist Church

It feels a bit odd, writing a review on a church but here goes....
We attend services here 2-3 times a year when we visit St. Aug from Canada. It feels like our home church! Nice and close to where we stay and I really appreciate the police directing traffic out of the church parking lot after the services.
We have tried both the contemporary and traditional services. We are very young seniors......so the contemporary service was just right. Excellent music ministry. The traditional service was a bit old for us!

So far I've really enjoyed this church. The people are friendly and Pastor West's sermons are right on point. I've really enjoyed how deeply he digs into a topic. And he doesn't just preach the same old sermons you've heard your entire life. Every one is taken from a different unique point of view. They have services to match every schedule and age group. You should quickly find yourself at home. I highly reccoment checking this church out.

This is such a friendly welcoming church. A real beacon for the worshipper. There are contemporary and traditional services on Saturday and Sunday. There is a complementary coffee bar that compares to the best in town! An added bonus. The traditional services have an orchestra with a choir and the contemporary services feature a wonderful band.

It's a warm friendly church here at ABC! For me, it's moderate & just right. The sanctuaries for Contemporary & Traditional Services are big but not so large that you feel lost. Plenty of parking. Good location. They preach what's important but don't lose you in crazy doctrine. This church has a real heart for people.

We went to the early service at the State Road 16 campus while visiting the area. Loved the friendly people and the contemporary service. Great truth speaking sermon delivered with love for all attending. Liked the insert in the bulletin, lots of great information for everyone. Highly recommend anyone to attend here, you will get good scriptural teaching with a loving family.

This is the place you want to be! My family enjoys Saturday nights with the Rock n Roll Music and sermon! It’s so uplifting and I enjoy coming here! Everyone’s so friendly and ABC has a wonderful pastor! We thank you ABC for having us!

I love my church, the wonderful Pastors, and all its people! Truly, it’s my family and I always feel at home there. Come by even if it’s just to hear the music. We have some of the most talented singers and band you’ll ever hear.

I went to this church for a few years. I loved it. The services were always great. Wonderful messages given. Great pastors and church goers. The dress was very casual to suits and dresses. People came for the messages not to see who wore what. Very comfortable and welcoming. Great bible studies and prayer groups. I would still be going if I still lived in the area.

Very friendly and welcoming church. Amazing kids program. Contemporary service at 9:30am is full of energy and God. Dr. West is an excellent pastor who relates the bible to life.

I love the fact that they offer a traditional service. That's what I grew up with as a young Christian. Not too much into the contemporary style and music. I feel like I'm being entertained. But with the contemporary service, I can get into an attitude of worship and feel like I'm in the presence of the Lord. 👼

Anastasia Baptist Church/ Academy has been our extended family since my son has attended the past two years. As we transition into our third year and last year during these unprecedented times, the leadership has been open, honest and transparent. My family is truly blessed to be part of Anastasia Baptist academy. The teachers and staff love my son as their own. I couldn't ask for a more loving and nurturing environment.

ABC has been my church home for over 15 years. I have many good Christian friends there and have learned much about the Christian Life through the solid teachings of many of the several pastors they have there. It's not their teachings but it comes straight from God. Come on and join us. There's always room for one more sinner.

I love this church. Great people, great music, activities for children and amazing trips and opportunities for adults. I wouldn't dream of calling another church home! Walter, Bobby, Rob, Sam, Dan and everyone there are so friendly. Check it out!!!

Wonderful church family with thought-provoking sermons and excellent music ministry at the contemporary service. Great children programs and different times to accommodate all (traditional and/or contemporary services) Thanks to everyone who makes this church so special!

The best place to worship God in St Augustine. Many services for all types traditional at 11 in old church dress up sing old tunes or go to 930. Sing updated praise music high energy etc. Or Spanish service at st rd 16.stat and find a Life li Groups visit on or all 59 for full experience.

Great Pastor and staff. Spirit is moving in these services. Challenging messages that help us grow in our faith

This is the best place to worship! The people are friendly, the music is fantastic, the choir and orchestra sound so wonderful, the pastors preach with truth and interesting sermons that speak to your heart.

Wonderful place of worship. The clergy and staff exceptional and the congregation are really helpful and supportive especially when you're new to the church. Would recommend to everyone.

This is one of the finest churches I've ever been a part of. Everyone involved is going above and beyond to hold it together during this virus outbreak. Not the church building, rather the people who make up the church.

My grandmother and daughter have been coming here since my daughter was born.. Soo 5 years now. Will never love another church as much as i love them!!! Perfection!!
