An outstanding outdoor sporting goods store. A clean well stocked facility with a great selection of nearly anything related to hunting, outdoor apparel, archery, reloading precision shooting or nearly any other outdoor activity you can imagine. Their gun and ammunition selection is mind boggling. Their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. After many shopping visits only once have I encountered some snobbish attitude from the gun department which ended up costing them a rather large sale in the end.

Van’s has the largest selection of firearms, accessories and ammo out of almost anyone in the south! There is a Bass Pro a few miles down the road with less than a quarter of what Van’s has. We stopped by there on our way to TN to buy a very specific gun (Ruger Mk4 Lite) and they didn’t just have about 20 of them in different colors but they had the exact one I’ve wanted for a few years. They made the purchase super easy and were very professional. That place has everything from budget guns to crazy expensive guns! I’d recommend them to anyone. Even if you have to drive a few hours to get there, it’s worth it!

Been going to Van's since about 1998.
I only use them for my deer 🦌 processing now because I think I have all the guns, hunting clothes, boots I will ever need, but if I do need more stuff, I will get it from Van. The deer 🦌 processing is getting up there in price, but it is the best quality and flavor everytime. The men working the processing drop-off and pick-up are top notch dudes, very quick to ask to help load or unload your game, wash you ice chest out, etc.
Van Allen runs a top notch quality business in my opinion. And no, I don't know Van personally, just have watched it grow from 1998 till now, he has earned the success.

Absolutely love vans! They have everything and when I can't find something gun related they have always had something to help me out. Good prices and expert gunsmiths. Fast service. Best gun shop in Mississippi hands down.

Deer processing is the best. I am very well satisfied. I will never go anywhere else. I know I got all of my deer meat back. Quick turn around on drop off to picking back up. Thank you for your kind,courteous, quick, and friendly service..

Nice store. Great selection. Employees were great. Bathroom was odd. Need better locking system and commode was loose on the floor.

What a great sporting goods store…..we stopped in to get a hunting rifle….their selection was great…..service was friendly….they could use more employees to make waiting less….but overall we got what we came for….and happy with the store.

I have purchased two firearms from Van's so far. Both experiences have been really good. Once you first walk up to the gun counter, there are usually some employees standing around that don't offer to help you but someone that actually does help customers is there in a reasonable amount of time. Prices are okay for their firearms. Not the cheapest but also not unreasonable. They have an absolutely huge selections of firearms though. Any type of gun you could want is there. It is the only place I have found around the Jackson area that actually has anything I'm looking for. Don't waste your time looking at mom and pop shops. Just go to Van's and they will take care of you. Employees are good southern people who treat you like you want to be treated. This place has all kinds of stuff too. Not just guns and ammo.

I use Van's when I buy a new self protection weapon. Nice store and the people have been very helpful.

My go to place for any kind of hunting gear or gun needs. Knowledgeable staff in every category of what they sell. Don’t see how they get all of that merchandise in that store. Not lacking anything. Always go and check out their used long guns too.

A little pricey but so far all the meat we got processed is very good! Pineapple & pepper jack sausage could use more pineapple, in my opinion. Much quicker on turn around time than I thought it would be! Great job!

AWESOME sporting goods store. Tons of items especially if you're looking for seasonal (duck, turkey, etc) and reloading. Huge gun selection from bottom end to collectable. Ypu NEED to go here.

My bf and I go in here all the time. They have lots to chose from but need more help behind the scope & rifle counter. We couldn't get anyone to come down where we were, the employees just help the next person that is closest to them at the counter. No organization, unfortunately they lost about a $1600.00 sale today..

I've been trying to locate a specific pistol for months when I received word from Andy they had one in stock so with that said I figured it was a simple transaction , wrong.
I live out of state and when a charge was submitted to my credit card it was viewed as fraud.
Needless to say if you've experienced this you know how frustrating this could be.
Long story short the crew at Van turned my frown upside down with there customer service skills issues were worked out and my package will be delivered in 2 days.
Hats off to the crew at Vans their customer service is second to none IMO
