Barnesville Church closed down in 1990 & was demolished. From Farm Rd 410, turn South on CR 2356 then east (right) on CR 2355. It's mostly dirt w/scant gravel & dead-ends in a small, brushy, turnaround. Just when you're sure you you're lost, you glance left & see 2 markers surrounded by undergrowth. To the right is an old screened-in camp bldg w/dirt floor, surrounded by new growth trees-n-briars.
☩ The lone visible gravestone is for a World War II veteran ✞ 1918 - 2009.
☩ The other marker's a Memorial Stone for Barnesville Baptist Church & Cemetery.
☩ Messenger Grave Markers scattered around the 2 stones, but are weathered till illegible. Perhaps there were once many wood markers.
☩ W/ only a handful of visible markers, Find•A•Grave reports 161 graves here. (April 2019)
