Carson Community Bank

Thought about a break from Arvest since Arvest doesn’t have a loan officer in Stilwell, so the wife and I went to talk to Carson bank in Stilwell. We just wanted to talk to them and see what he could do for us and maybe open an account and consolidate some bills. We added it up PRIOR to going in and we are bringing around $1.2m to the table but the mortgage loan officer didn’t even have the courtesy of giving us any time or even letting us know that he was busy.

We walked in and told the assistant that we needed to talk to the mortgage loan officer. She went to his office which was right there. He asked questions THRU an assistant on (1) what loans did we want and after that then asked THRU the assistant (2) did we have property as collateral.

We could see he was watching something on his computer. Kept us waiting without any courtesy for a little over 20 minutes. We simply stated that if he didn’t have any time for us we could go elsewhere.

The teller was nice, though. He asked me if we got what we were needing. As we were leaving he finally came out of his office and called out to me he was there. We just kept walking.

I was not informed that as a new customer there would be a 9 business day hold on my deposit. This means I had no access to my money for 2 weeks and they did not feel it was important enough to warrant a phone call.

They make you wait 2 days to cash a check if you don't have enough money in the account for said check that someone's else wrote. Said you will be liable for check if it bounces. Thought it was the writers cost if said check bounces. I took a picture of said check on TTCU and it cashed in an 1 and I didn't even have to wait 10 minutes at the drive thru like I did a this joint. Not to mention I never received my atm card they said they sent.

Terrible, rude customer service.
