The Lokal Yukon

This was a great place to stop. We were told to hit this joint by a friend and so glad we did. Excellent service, even with it being crazy busy on a Sunday afternoon. I had a party melt, my wife a burger and son a chicken fried chicken sandwich. Stupid good!!! We will definitely return.

We were in Yukon about lunchtime and this restaurant was recommended. I had the Buffalo meatloaf and candied carrots The meatloaf had garlic in it and I'm not a fan of garlic. But that's just me as garlic lovers will enjoy the meatloaf with the delicious brown gravy. My wife ordered a superb Indian Taco. There is a well stocked bar with a friendly bartender. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I will return in a week or so.

Cute place with a great atmosphere. Was seated quickly for lunch. Our waitress was quick, attentive and friendly. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. Both the fried chicken salad and the chicken ceaser salad were a good size and filling. Would order again. The Philly cheese steak was good, would be better with shaved steak and not ground beef but still very good. The sweet potato fries are delicious! Okra too. We enjoyed this lunch very much. Will return.

This lil establishment is absolutely amazing!! The wait staff is very courteous, respectful, friendly, and wonderful!! Ashley was our waitress. We truly appreciate how great she treated us. This was our first time eating here and we will definitely be returning!! The food was fantastic!!

Fantastic lunch today at Lokal Yukon! You can taste the quality in their meats!
We started off with some Spicy Buffalo Balls with a GREAT homemade BBQ sauce. I had the local club with sweet potato fries, Frank had the cheeseburger with onion rings.
All so good! Topped off with an amazing slice of pumpkin cheesecake.
Great fast friendly service.

We came here for dinner with friends before we went to a concert. Ashley, our server, was spot on with service and with a great personality. Ask for Ashley when you come in and tell her Wade Carter recommended her. Oh, and the food was excellent and delicious. My wife and I shared the Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer, then shared the Pork Chops as our meal, (big enough portions to share for sure).

Clean and spacious, includes outdoor patio seating. I ordered the fried chicken club with asparagus. The second party ordered the Lokal club with squash and zucchini. We also got the beer pretzel as an appetizer. Everything was superb! The fried chicken was huge! Everything was fresh. Great pricing as related to the portion size. We will definitely be back!

Second visit (adding to the first review)

I orders the bacon-wrapped bison meatloaf (comes with mashed potatoes) along with the grilled squash and zucchini. The meatloaf was good, not great. Admittedly this is my first time trying bison and i thought it had less flavor than regular beef. The grilled squash and zucchini was amazing! Great flavor! Party 2 got the cheesesteak sandwich with fries. She LOVED it! She added a "beer in a boot" special. Service was exceptional as usual.

This place has a cool environment, food was delicious! And you get a free cup!

We have mixed feelings about this place but overall it was fantastic. The wait was normal for the lunch rush but everyone was so friendly and helpful. The customer service was top notch! The fried deviled eggs were perfect with the siracha. We didn’t want to pay extra for that with bacon.

Their fries y’all were some of the best fries we’ve ever had.

My husband got the bison burger and you could taste that it’s almost flame broiled but there was 0 flavor. Not even salt and pepper.

My chicken sandwich was amazing! It was a Baja sandwich and it was packed with flavor! My sweet potato fries were so good too.

Their sweet tea tasted watered down and not sweet at all. I may need to show them how to make real sweet tea. But

Very delicious food, good service, and a good atmosphere. They even had musicians set up & start playing near the end of our visit, though it may have been a tad too loud; it hurt our ears just a bit. Overall, a very good experience. The live music being too loud is not a deterrent to us paying another visit.

Love the food here. We order take out as it is usually very busy here and way too loud. If you want a loud active place then this might be for you. They have some cool items decorating the space.

This is my favorite restaurant in Yukon!

I've grown up in this town, and quite quickly, this place has become a staple, no doubt!

Everyone who works there makes you feel like you belong and are extremely welcoming.

And the food is absolutely great! They don't have anything I don't like!

WOW! We found ourselves in Yukon and decided to try The Lokal Yukon based on the menu and reviews. It did not disappoint! Service, cocktails, and food were all outstanding. Everything freshly made from scratch. We ordered the sampler appetizer, chicken strip dinner (the chicken strips were HUGE) with sweet potato fries, cheesesteak sandwich with a cup of green Chile chicken soup, and then some cheesecake for dessert, plus 4 different feature cocktails. Everything was fantastic. Plus, it was great to eat at a good restaurant with good kid-friendly options. We live on the opposite side of the metro, but will definitely be returning to The Lokal Yukon!

Really nice restaurant! I got The Lokal Club with Mac & Cheese. My friend got chicken tenders with fries. The fries were so crispy and almost had layers of crispness, so delicious!🤤 The Lokal Club was thick, two people could have enjoyed the one sandwich. I was full after 1/2 of it! We got mozzarella sticks for an appetizer, they we very yummy! Better than Sonic’s, and they have good ones, lol. I would definitely recommend! 10/10

Great experience on Thursday 2/9/24 pm on my first visit to this location.

All the staff that we interacted with (Dalton, Lacey, Christian, and Ashley) each went above and beyond in their own way to make it a wonderful experience. The Bison Meatballs were delicious, and the Sauce on the meatballs seems like it would taste great on ANYTHING!

Bartenders were very friendly and efficient even as they got very busy! Will most definitely be back to this location when in the Yukon Area…

There were nine of us & we ordered most of the menu to pass / share. Service was excellent & food was all absolutely delicious. Be warned, they're apparently in a county that doesn't allow alcohol service 'til 2pm on Sundays!

What a wonderful place! Their beer selection is above average. I asked for the drink that was most commonly sold. I got a bramble berry mule. It was surprisingly good. My second drink made me want another mule.
We ordered an appetizer plate that came with Fried mozzarella sticks, fried pickles and fried deviled eggs. So good!
I ordered chicken fried steak with sweet potato fries and green beans. Spouse got bison meatloaf, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes.
The bison meatloaf was moist and tender, wrapped with bacon and covered with brown gravy and had a great flavor. Potatoes were a little overworked, so gluey. Mac and cheese was homemade and super good.
The chicken fry was cooked to perfection and one of the best I have had in the state. The sweet potato fries were thin and crisp with a faint vanilla flavor, surprising, but not off-putting. My green beans were fresh and sauteed and a welcome surprise.
We would definitely go back. The food prices were good. 3 drinks, appetizers and 2 dinners came to 70 bucks.

Food was really good. I would have like more flavor in Chicken Fried Steak as it was bland. Catfish was great and salad was decent too.

All in all amazing place. Great food, out of the way friendly service and reasonable prices. Definitely be back.

The pork with bourbon BBQ sauce was really delicious. Best I ever had. So if you ever go to Yukon, Oklahoma you must try this place off the Route 66. The fries were sweet potatoes and the asparagus was very good.
