Emerson Elementary School

This school is a special place that feels like home when you are there. This school is full of caring teachers who work hard in a very tough environment. The students come from homes that are poverty stricken and this causes many other mountains to climb in the classrooms besides just simple learning issues. The teachers and staff are there for the students' needs, all of their needs.

This is a unique school serving the neighborhood and downtown Tulsa. It is closely affiliated with the Brady Arts District and is a STEAM related school. It incorporates several clubs including the following: Bike club, Coding, Minecraft, Botball Robotics, Spanish, Ceramics, Scouts and Performing Arts.

This school is full of good teachers! I like Emerson, the building is very roomy and classrooms are big and nice and clean. Grades aren't all that good though, but everyone learns at their own pace!!

My friend's son attends this school. He was in trouble, got scared, asked to use the restroom, and left the premises.
They apparently don't have anyone watching to make sure this doesn't happen.
I don't know how soon they realized he was gone, but they did not call the parents until he was missing for an hour, then the principal went to the parents house and started debasing them, and telling them about raising kids with discipline, when they should have been on the hunt for the child.
Fortunately he turned up unharmed about 6 hours later, but this never should have happened in the first place. The principal should be fired and the school should be under review.

This is definitely NOT Emerson elementary school.
