McKinley Elementary School

I am so excited for my family to be an Eagle! When I went to meet the teacher night and introduce my son to his kindergarten teacher Ms. Hall, I was thrilled to see so many of her former students seeking her out for hugs and to say hello. With that, I knew my son was in good hands.
When my son wasn't at his goal, she gave me advice how to help him along and made sure to send extra papers that he could do to help get him where he needed to be. She got to know him and his classmates which helped her to teach in a mannor they could learn from.
I was fortunate to volunteer in the classroom and on field trips. I enjoyed my time with the class. When the teachers had a luncheon together and had the parents supervising the classrooms, I didn't know what we would be doing to occupy the kids. I didn't have to do anything. The kids all knew what to do and stayed to their usual routines. What an awesome school year! So happy to see Ms. Hall get teacher of the year. I've enjoyed all the staff for their care of all the students. Way to go team!!

I'm a 5th grader and I love this school the teacher are really fun,nice, and loving and i really care about this school and love it very much.

Great neighborhood school

Seems like a nice school. It's in a bad neighborhood. I wish people had ,ore pride in what they do and say around kids and this elementary school. If you can afford it private school that's the best option for your child. Be cautious of Tulsa Public School system.

This school has a fight every other day, I DO NOT RECOMMEND

this school is completely ridiculous, its embarrassing that my kids even go there I know one thing for sure they will not go next year. The school is so inappropriate i can't believe it's still open. The principal thinks it's okay to teach your children the Nae Nae before class starts. And then my child today apparently Miss Hall decided that it was a great idea to let her kindergarten class watch the news today and with a storm coming tomorrow now she's terrified thinking that trees are going to get ripped up and things like that because somebody decided it was a great idea to let kindergarteners watch the news unattended. But according to McKinley Elementary she is the teacher of the year. Don't get me wrong there's a couple teachers that's cool I like but that's where it comes back to where teachers wanting more money the three teachers in that school that actually do what they're supposed to example Miss Kimp love that woman to death. Give them thw money they deserve and fire the rest...Just saying if you have to put your kid in Tulsa Public Schools do not put your child in this school.
