Arizona Mexican Restaurant

After reading the reviews, we just had to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint!
Fast service - check.
Friendly service - check.
Great queso - check.
Chicken fajitas were some of the best I've had with a good blend of onions, peppers and tomatoes. Slightly heavy on the onions which was perfect for me.
My wife liked all 3 of her enchiladas, spinach, cheese, and chicken. The Mexican Flag entree.
Our sodas never got before half full.
Might have to come back on Tuesday next time though to take advantage of the "Bald Tuesday" special.

I was devastated when they closed and absolutely over the moon when they reopened, albeit under a new name. It is a very affordable place that straddles the line between authentic and tex mex. There's something here for everyone and you'll be able to afford it. The staff is incredible, the food is delicious, the place has been recently remodeled and the gentleman running the place is a very likeable person. If you're a true Mexican food snob, I have no idea how this place measures up but I have been to more "authentic" Mexican restaurants that did NOT have nopales and chilaquiles and the like. Tello's (the new name) does have stuff like that and those dishes are amazing. It has a real community/neighborhood feel as well and this place has been running for over 20 years and, in short, it deserves your business.

Good, food. American style Mexican not texmex. I left full without having internal combustion. Great family restraunt. Im definitely going to eat there again.

I have loved Arizona since the mid-90s. The food is always consistent and great for the price. The queso and guac are the best in town as are the hard shell tacos. Their house relleno is one of my favorites and the Texas Fajitas are large enough to serve two. Margaritas are on par with most other Mexican restaurants in this area. Great service, positive and speedy service. Perfect place for lunch or dinner.

If there's something you can count on when you come to Arizona it's great service and good, hot food. Each time I've eaten here the wait staff is very attentive and efficient. The food always has great flavor and is delicious.

Our favorite dine in restaurant. We are in love with this place, we found it a year ago and visit 3-5 times a month and have never had even a sort of bad experience. The value is incredible, try their “a little bit of everything” with queso instead of red sauce and a large margarita next time you’re here and you’ll never have another menu item. We love the staff and the owner is an incredibly humble, honest and caring man. Support local, support Arizona Mexican Restaurant.

We were a group of 12 which can be a challenge for some restaurants, but the waiter did an excellent job of taking care of us. He was attentive and friendly. The food was very good and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. We will definitely be back.

This place is a hidden treasure! The food is FANTASTIC and the service is AMAZING

It's always a great place to eat.. We really enjoy our meals every time we go. Tonight we both had the Enchilada Supreme Special.. 1 chicken, 1 beef, 1 bean and 1 cheese (enchiladas) served with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream (you can get it on the side like my husband or not at all like me ☺) and side of beans, and rice. We like to cover all of that with white queso Delicious 😋 😉

As a native Tulsan this place has been in business for 30 years and is Rock solid on basically traditional Mexican food. You can't beat it for lunch as the quality and prices are equally outstanding.

Use your salsa on the crispy tacos and they are as good as it gets.

Reasonably priced certainly a value.

This place is fantastic!!! It is our favorite place to eat. The staff is the best in town and are always friendly. We go here at least once every two weeks. We sit at the bar and I have the large draft beer which is a great value compared to any other place in town. The food is always fresh and tasty. The restaurant is always clean and so are the bathrooms. Come on a Friday evening and the girls will be at the bar having a good time. The menu has quite a variety and the kids will love it too. Check the bar when you come in and say hello. I may be sitting there enjoying my beer and chips and salsa which are also always fresh and delicious.

My wife and I are visiting the US for the first time and the Arizona Mexican Restaurant was recommended to us by family members in the US. It was our first time trying the Mexican cuisine but it definitely won't be our last time during our stay. The food is fresh and tastes just amazing also the waiters are really attentive and overall just nice. We can't wait to try more dishes on the menu. If you want to eat good food and like to enjoy your stay in a restaurant we can highly recommend the Arizona Mexican Restaurant in Tulsa! 10/10 Stars

This great little hole in the wall became a regular "go-to" restaurant for solid Latin food in town. GREAT for bitterly cold days as it is small, warm, with great smelling food cooking. Just a wonderfully charming place. I always get Morris's Guac-hot guacamole dip-ridiculously delicious. For people leaving poor reviews, I suggest they lay off the weed after work, if they are employed, which they probably aren't. If you don't like Arizona: go straight to Hell.

We found this by chance as this fantastic place was not too far from the hotel. One word....Magnificent. The Margaritas 🍹 are outstanding and the food is one of the best. Our wait staff made the experience fun. Will definitely be back next time in Tulsa. Highly recommend☝👍

I come here often, me and my husband live in the neighborhood behind so we come here all the time. Morris the owner is awesome!! The staff is very gracious of the business that they get and treats everyone with the upmost respect. Everyone always seems so happy. They care very much about the service they give. If you have a bad experience it most likely is a one time thing. Everybody knows that things happen and sometimes it's unavoidable. Great family owned business. Margaritas are strong and good!! Thank you all for the wonderful memories and service!!

Great food. Environment and staff make you feel like your home. Margarita frozen and on the rocks are great as well. Highly recommend
