Great little venue that had some great music on a Monday night. Super nice bartender who was attentive to keeping the fire stoked. Really loved the touch of a working wood fireplace. Will definitely return on my return trips to Tulsa.

Everything I said about Mercury Lounge applies to The colony; non smoking, no germs flying everywhere, no tvs to watch your favorite sports game, original Tulsa Sound live music everyday, great staff, great drink specials, great vibe overall without the uptight snobby attitudes. My kinda place

Great local bar with amazing local artists!

I was absolutely shell shocked by the Monday night performers. I am IN LOVE. They were incredible, the crowd was very cool and quite in respect of the performers. Would highly recommend. A well spent Monday night.

Yeah, I don't know why I was being such a stuck-up little cuss about how a Guinness is poured in my original review, but it focused on the wrong aspects of the place, so we're doing it again: this is one of the greatest live music spots in Tulsa. Also just a nice little hideaway when you wanna dwell somewhere a little dark, laid-back, and cozy. Their beer and liquor selection is pretty decent, but you're more there for the community, the art, and the atmosphere.

First time in Tulsa two weeks ago also means first time at The Colony, one of the coolest live music bars I’ve been in in a verrry long time. Felt like home the moment I walked in the door. Seth Lee Jones was playing that night, great guitar sound, perfect ambience for his band. If I lived closer The Colony would definitely be my go-to in Tulsa.

This place is the best damn dive bar in Tulsa. The place to go if you love live music. 7 nights a week, starts around 10pm. Friendly regulars, lots of musicians hang out here. Great patio where you can smoke/socialize and still here the music. Legendary.

One of the best places, if not the best place to hear music in Tulsa. Wide variety of styles and genres. Small intimate venue, good bar, great history--which includes people like Leon Russell and Eric Clapton. Mondays a world class blues guitarist is the regular act. Worth staying up late for.
