East Central Middle School

This is a fantastic school with forward-thinking administration and caring teachers.

I'm a student at OSU Tulsa, and I recently went out to observe some ESL/ELL programs in the community. As my observations have mostly been at the adult education level, I'm not going to compare middle schools, but MAN this school has some wonderful things to offer.

I was warmly welcomed, and I saw great practices and very contemporary materials in the classroom that you usually only hear about at lectures on 'how to teach well' etc. I'm very impressed.

WELL... I WENT TO FOSTER MIDDLE SCHOOL... AROUND 10 YEARS AGO AND THAT SCHOOL WAS AWESOME I LOVED IT... I WAS NEVER DESCRIMINATED EVEN THOUGH I WAS CHUBBY DIDN´T SPEAK A WORD IN ENGLISH AND I WAS MEXICAN ... ALL MY TEACHER WERE VERY HELPFUL AND THEY TAUGHT ME A LOT. IN FACT MY OTHER TWO BROTHER WENT TO THE SAME SCHOOL AND THEY NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL... THIS BULLYING THING HAS BECOME ONE OF THE BEST EXCUSES FOR YOUNG KIDS THAT DONT WANT TO DO THEIR WORK OR JUST DONT LIKE SCHOOL AND THEY DECIDE TO MAKE THEMSELVES AS VICTIM, SOMETIMES THEY COULD BE WORSE THEN A BULLY... ITS ALL ON OURSELVES =) ... SCHOOLS ARE THE SAME...

I hate tulsa public and if you love foster booker t east high you r crazy only thorw is good or union or jenks and nouth side kids go there to tulsa public

In my opinion, ECJHS is possibly the worst Tulsa Public School school I have ever seen, TPS school are terrible in general ( with exception of therou and Edison ), someday TPS and its schools will end their operations while Union and Dove become stronger and fix the school TPS used to own

Lot's of gangs and bullying, Take this from a student who attends the school, The fighting never ends. I wouldn't recommend this school for you're growing child.

You don't learn anything! Horrible school. I don't recommend it at all!
