Dr. Frei and his staff made my appointment almost a pleasure! I received a prompt response to my request for a call back and was seen extremely quickly. (That day.)

The receptionist was lovely, the medical staff efficient and attentive. Dr. Frei himself is a kind and caring doctor and a consummate professional.

I’m not sure anyone is crazy about going to see a surgeon. For me, it was a good experience!

Had a complicated gall bladder surgery a week ago and Dr. Frei turned my horrible condition into wonderful. He is so friendly, professional and a master of what he does that he managed to avoid making a huge incision on my abdomen from the complication which I really appreciated. Not only that, he called me several times a day for days after my surgery to check on me and made sure everything was okay, and that really made me feel safe that I was gonna get better. I am new to town and have a little to no knowledge at all of who are the surgeons to be trusted but I just relied from the good words I hear about Dr. Frei that he is an amazing surgeon and worth trusting for and I wasn’t wrong after all. I had an excellent experience working with this surgeon from his level of care and from the care of the people in his office.

I came in for surgery. He is very nice and personable knows exactly what he's doing and the staff they are awesome as well always nice and polite and smiling and asking if they can do anything for you. Definitely a nice place to have things taken care of in the medical aspect.

Dr Frei is a great doctor with wonderful personality. Took his time with me. Explained everything. I am very happy that I have found him.

I was so happy to hear Dr Frei didn't retire for it has been 6 yrs. since the last operation and now he's going to operate on me again. At 75 I have complete confidence on his medical skills and professional experience as a surgeon to operate on me.

Dr. Frei is a wonderful surgeon. I saw him while hospitalized with gall bladder problems and as an outpatient when I had my gall bladder removed. He is extremely compassionate and very easy to talk to. He answered all my questions and made me feel very much at ease. I highly recommend him!

I wholeheartedly give praise to all of the folks I encountered at my recent visit with Dr. Frei. As always, everyone showed concern, answered all of my questions and were not rushed through my visit.

Out of a rating of 100, I would give Dr. FREI and his staff 100. From the front desk to the exit desk you feel as though everyone cares about you. Dr. Frei is a jewel and I don't think you can find better anywhere. His nurse, Alice is an angel, who makes you feel as though she is there to minister just to your needs. This is my second surgery with Dr. Frei and I couldn’t imagine using anyone else. He is extremely thorough when discussing your case and gives you a very high level of confidence going into the surgery. He and his staff have a vast amount of experience, knowledge and the care is top notch!!

Dr Frei is a wonderful doctor. I have worked with him for years and he is a really good person at heart. He is one of the good ones that Aiken Regional has been fortunate enough to have on staff. My experience in ENDO was great. Christina and Nancy were great!!!

While a colonoscopy is not something most people want to have, Dr. Frei made it more comfortable by his willingness to meet with me ahead of time, hear my concerns, ask appropriate health questions and show genuine interest. He also checked in before the procedure and again after to share the results. I highly recommend Dr. Frei and his team.

There was a short wait time to see the Dr after being put into exam room. Dr Frei was very thorough and thoughtful. Very gentle doing breast biopsy.

Dr. Frei and staff were superb throughout my entire battle with a failed gall bladder. They were helpful and supportive from emergency room care, through surgery, and finally post op rehab. I recommend this physician highly.
