Couldn't believe I had overlooked this place for years. Was driving back through Tulsa and looking for something new/different that I hadn't tried and discovered Freeway Cafe and was blown away. Can't wait to go back next time I am in town.

Man, this is a AMAZING place we came here after the chili bowl everyday. The service is fast we got done with everything in under a hour. The employees were amazing, and so kind. We were there final night of the chili bowl and saw Emmett Hahn! We had such a good time definitely recommend going here!

Great food and service. The chicken fried steak is delicious, huge, and came with 3 sides and a roll! It was two meals for me. Worth the $.
Haven't tried everything they offer on the menu, but have to say, Yum, Delicious and worth every penny !

This is one of the best places to get breakfast in town! The classic atmosphere is really cool and the staff were all super nice and helpful. I am definitely going back! Thanks for the great meal!

Enjoyed Salmon Patties, but their cabbage rolls were so tempting. As a bonus, I saw a friend I hadn't seen in years.

My husband and I went here for the first time last night. They have a wide variety of stuff including all day breakfast. Some dinner items were chicken fried chicken, burgers & fries (or onion rings) soups, salads. The pancakes 🥞 were delicious 😋 (or so says my husband).

The atmosphere was very chill. It's a quiet little place that takes you back in time (50's decor) Our server was Marci and she was so sweet.. Very patient, since it took me forever to figure out I wanted soup and salad 🥗 🤦🏻‍♀ (She convinced me the potato soup was very good 🤷🏻‍♀) (it really was 😋) We will definitely be going back to explore the breakfast menu! 😉 ♥♥♥♥♥👍👍👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great menu options, great tasting meals and good servers. Check out was a super lengthy wait. They either need a second checkout terminal for peak weekend times, or better training on their point of sale software.

Went for breakfast, the food is very delicious! Fair prices, great atmosphere, friendly staff. 50s style diner.

I so love this place. Don't know why I haven't been here before. The service was wonderful, despite the crowd. Our waiter was so attentive and the food was prepared in a timely manner and the price is so affordable, I ordered a little of everything!!

The omelets are huge with a nice serving of crispy on the outside hash brown potatoes. Be sure to order the biscuits and gravy with your meal. You get TWO biscuits with the best sausage gravy around. Of course, all their food is yummy whether you get breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I love the automobilia atmosphere, and the food is always good here.

During the huge windstorm aftermath they had huge generators to power the restaurants and big refrigerated trucks to keep supplies in.

The food is delicious and still had so left for later. Service was fabulous, and staff was enviting and friendly. I highly recommend!

This place is awesome. They serve breakfast and lunch/dinner all day. They are fairly priced and does have a good child menu.

Excellent service. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked thru the doors!! Our waitress was amazing!! Although the chicken and dumplings were kinda salty, the food was very good and I can't believe how much food you get for such a small price! We seriously need one of these cafes in Ohio which is where my family and I are from. We will definitely be sure to come back next time we are in Tulsa!

Tulsa has NO shortage of great eating places. And I've tried many of them

But there is one place that's THE VERY BEST. I've probably been here 10 times in the last 2 years. And EVERY time I am amazed. It's truly fantastic. From the Oklahoma Omelette to the breaded pork chops. you will not be disappointed

They have excellent breakfast options here and the food is delicious. The service is always polite, attentive, and expedient. The american diner and vintage car decor of this place fits the aesthetic for a restaurant named Freeway Cafe. Never had a bad experience anytime I have been here.

Went on a Saturday at noon. Place was pretty busy. You go in and seat yourself. Waiter brought us menus and got our drink order pretty quickly. They had Coke products. Brought our drinks and took out order. I ordered the Three way Chilj with spaghetti noodles. I had onion and cheese on mine. My dad ordered the meatloaf with pinto beans and mashed potatoes. Our food was brought out in about 10 minutes. Food was great. The meatloaf was thick. The picture provided os only half of the meatloaf slice he got. Serving size was perfect for this fat boy. Dad had to get a doggy bag. Temp inside the restaurant was a little cool (I was in jeans and a polo) but not uncomfortable. If youre cold natured I'd bring a Hoodia or something. They had football playing on all TV's. They have booths, tables and bar stools at a counter you can sit at. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Restaurant was clean. Also, some of the staff if bilingual. Definitely will go back.
