I called the mayor's office on 2/29/24 to ask a generalized question. The woman that I was speaking with was condescending, arrogant and patronizing. I was trying to find out who was over the Owasso P.D. and was asking how the same situation would be resolved if it arose in the City of Tulsa.

She spoke to me like I was an imbecile or a child incapable of understanding anything but the most basic concepts by explaining the difference between the City of Tulsa and the County of Tulsa. She emphasized that while they sounded the same, they were not. She asked if I understood that. When I told her that yes, indeed, I know the difference, then she said "well, you're not a constituent". WOW! What a horrible human being. The other reviews are correct, this exchange is the epitome of what's wrong with Tulsa. Sorry I wasted your time, your highness.

The downtown area of Tulsa is deplorable. Looks like the zombie apocalypse of no dwelling individuals rooming the streets. Some areas smell like urine and worst. The ok commerce’s grants should have been received by now. These grants are to provide dwelling or hotel accommodation to those in need. Past hotels accommodation resulted in vandalism of the hotel by ungrateful people. So I understand why anyone would be reluctant to do this service again.
Many people prefer to stay outside because they don’t want deal with shelters congregation.
The mayor WIN “ working in neighborhoods “ program is retarded. The program allocates 5k dollars to save old dwellings that are on a demolition list. I estimate that it will cost about about 30 to 50 k dollars to renovate a dwelling on a demolition listed premises.
A cost valuation is usually required.
After all this renovation is done a owner will have a old dwelling with new construction products installed.
How many people still drive a 1960 or older vehicle that cost more to repair than the vehicle is valued at.
Non operating vehicles litter many areas and streets. Vehicles parked inverted on the streets. If you are a tourist of downtown and like seeing people living suffering on and in the streets. I personally don’t like it.

In my opinion this office is a direct representation of what is wrong with this city..

Horrible service
Nobody cares
Lack of service
You can't speak to anyone except the receptionist.

This is what our tax payer dollars go to...?

This is what makes Tulsa a great city to raise a family and grow a business??

Not sure how when the city officials and representatives seem to be like leaches. Sucking everything dry and not helping.

Nothing is going to get better if they don't care.

Maybe it is time to get all new people. If we do this enough, maybe we will find people that care. Then we can truly make this city great!

I am a retired individual . Very rarely get down town . ( Now I know why )
I had to go to bank of Oklahoma to get some 401K information . Had to pay $ 7.00 for 20 min parking . Since it was lunch time I decided to eat at the Crane and wouldn't you know it only 3 parking spaces and all occupied out front so I went to the back as directed to a field with 3 com. trucks . There I parked didn't see the signs that were 300 ft. from where the vehicles were . Ate came out and there is a parking ticket on my car . Big open field and I get my only parking ticket I have ever gotten . Now my wife just passed and that is why I was down there in the first place so I am dealing with that among other situations . Next day I get a call My 95 year old mother is in the hospital in Virginia . I am out there for 27 days . Next thing I find out the $ 25:00 ticket has parlayed into a SEVENTY FIVE dollar ticket that is something this City should be ASHAIMED about .
