The Village Cafe

In the words of my daughter "oh my this place is adorable" best describes the Village Cafe. Went with the turkey sandwich which was excellent. Not often that a sandwich hits all the high notes but this one does. Small outdoor seating area for when the weather is nice.

On my way to Zen Relaxation Massage, I decided to stop here for breakfast. I had a bagel, egg, cheese with a chai latte. Everything was delicious. 😊

Popped in for a quick breakfast and coffee. The prices on their menu are very affordable. The two ladies that greeted me were very polite and made me feel welcome — despite the computer issues (had to restart the system for an update) they were very professional with me.

They asked me what choice of bagel I wanted with my order, when I asked what options they had I selected the everything bagel but was given a plain bagel instead. This wasn’t a big deal for me, because the food was still fresh and I enjoyed it. For any coffee aficionados, they do not steam any milk here so just a heads up if you want a Cortado they won’t be able to do it. However, you can still get an espresso! Overall I would come back and give it another try.

Update: Village Cafe does have a Cortado available! The owner is working hard to train all of his new team members. Pop in and give them a try, places like this often get overlooked in Aiken because everyone likes to go downtown — you won't be disappointed! There is also a beautiful fountain nearby where you can enjoy your coffee and food. The area has a very peaceful atmosphere compared to downtown Aiken.

Pretty good place for a coffee and a bite to eat. Prices are average, ~$10 for a large sandwich (I got DOUBLE bacon, picture is with DOUBLE bacon). Coffee is better than average and about the price of Starbucks. Plenty of seating and has a shaded patio as well.

I had heard about this place and checked out the website. I was too late for breakfast so I saw the option for a Café CheeseBurger. It's a 6 oz. Angus blend, your choice of Cheese, Green Leaf Lettuce, and Ripe Tomato served on Sesame Challah Bun. I added bacon, ordered it and picked it up to take back to where I was staying. The cafe was cute and nicely laid out. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Well, that was tastiest, perfectly cooked burger I've had in a long time. We have tons of gourmet burger places around us (DC metro area) and for the money, this can't be beat.

Love this place. I eat lunch here weekly. The food and employees are always great. They have indoor and outdoor seating so we sometimes take our puppy and sit outside.

What a great place to grab a cup of coffee and food and chill. The staff are wonderful and they have a broad selection of food. Everything is from local farms, bakeries, etc. The vibe is nice both inside and on the patio. A must try.

So so good. What a nice surprise off the beaten path. The tomato bisque was great but the highlight was the Salmon BLT. High quality, clean ingredients. Super cute place if you're ever lucky enough to visit Aiken

Ask for the Key Special. Not on the menu but the favorite coffee drink from Key the barista. Vanilla, carmel, and cinnamon. Veggie panini is crispy and yummy!

Clean restaurant, friendly staff & great food! i had a ham sandwich - yum!! The cheese was amazing. Chicken salad is fantastic. Desserts are to die for! One of the best.

This place is AMAZING! Great service, great coffee, great sandwiches (Cuban!). Truly impressed, keep up the good work. Sad I don't live closer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today in this beautiful spot! First time here! We will certainly be back!

Love coming here! It’s right next to my job and I love being able to come in and get something fresh to eat- whether it’s Sandwhiches, salads or breakfast it’s all amazing!

I had the Club sandwich. Delicious. My wife had the Sammy Turkey. Thankfully she let me try it so I can say its also delicious. I think its the bread (or the cheese) that makes it taste so good. There are many other items I'd like to try so I will certainly be back soon.

Great lunches and take home dinners. Great varieties of coffee and love their cappuccino. Great soups except for gazpacho tomato and clam chowder that we don't care for. Their other soups are wonderful. We like cup a of soup and sandwiches. We only go when they have the good soups available. Otherwise would go there daily. Panini are all great too.

There is nothing on the menu I've not liked so far but my favorite item is the Pesto Chicken Panini. I would also say they have wonderful specials of the day including a soup of the day. As an avid lover of soups I have always enjoyed their soups.

We stopped for dessert and it was delicious. The gelato is very tasty and rich - great dessert choice! We also got some of the bars. The lemon bar was our favorite - very tasty and creamy with enough lemon flavor. The Dolly bar was sweet and a little crumbly crust but good flavor. The peanut butter bar is like eating a big Reese's Cup with less chocolate - same texture and great peanut flavor but sweet like the candy. I'm enjoying it but in quarters at one time. The mocha chocolate chunk cookie was our least favorite with a strong coffee flavor and too little chocolate chunk to balance it. You need to be a coffee lover for this dessert.

This was an unexpected Yelp find on a road trip my wife and I took. My full review is on Yelp. Great soups salads and sandwiches. Friendly and efficient staff, seating both inside and outside, and desserts that are incredible. We bookmarked this place for our next trip we take. We will most certainly be back

This is my favorite coffee shop in town; it’s such a treat to stop by and get a delicious iced caramel latte, or even just a hot coffee. All of their food is amazing; I’ve never had anything I didn’t love! They’re so reasonably priced too, and their loyalty drink card is so rewarding! <3 Staff has always been friendly and gracious; definitely one of my top favorite spots in town!!

Decided to check this place and I loved it. Very chic, clean, and relaxing the perfect getaway place. I love the design of the place and the aesthetics. I ordered the hot breakfast of the day which was a oatmeal bar with fresh toppings, with a side of bacon and a mocha. Everything was simply amazing.. I took the opportunity to eat outside in their gorgeous courtyard. The staff was amazing, this is a nice place to sit and relax, and enjoy amazing good. Highly recommended! I love this place will be coming back
