Soul & Seafood House

On my way to Zen Relaxation Massage, I decided to stop here for lunch. It was early, so the place was not packed yet. I was seated promptly, and looked over the menu. My server, Alana, cheerfully answered any questions I had about the menu items. I ordered the fried flounder, which came with 2 sides. I chose the lima beans and steamed broccoli. I also ordered a side of cornbread... Just a heads up, some of the veggies are flavored with turkey. For dessert, Alana, recommended the carrot cake. The food was good; carrot cake was amazing!

Absolutely LOVED! We have known the owner for years - so wifey & I went here for our anniversary and the food was great. Our order consisted of: Combo B + 1/2 pound crawfish + extra crab leg, 12ct oyster, 10pc wings, 2 beers & 1 wine = $120.

Great food, great place, great price! We will be back.

Okayyyy, review time in Today we frequented @Soul and seafood Southern style on Richland Ave. Suite 104 in South Carolina. We got there at noon and they were just opening. Renee was our waitress and she was wonderful. She said she only leaves tables with empty plates and she meant it. I can't say that I am tired of good food because I'm not. This place was different. They have your taste buds covered. Seafood, yes!!! Soul food, yes!! Good sides and dessert, yes. My husband said if they had a burger then they'd have it all. The food was good good. He got the flounder and I got the pork chops and we mixed it up. Nothing on the plate was disappointing. We need to go back for the seafood. This place filled up so quick. I have been eating really good lately. I wonder who is going to break the streak? Y'all if you get there too late you may have to wait but the booths can hold six large behinds comfortably. I had the flounder, okra, and lime beans. My friend had the oxtails, v collard Greens, lime beans. The food came out hot, but it didn't have any seasoning at all. The waitress never came back to refill our cups. The atmosphere was very nice.

This might be my new favorite place to eat in Aiken. Our table had three different Build Your Boil meals - shrimp, crawfish, and sausage. Everything was impeccable (the house special medium was our favorite) . The service was outstanding. They were short-staffed, but we never would've guessed it. The staff was so friendly, and helpful. Our order was taken quickly and our food was delivered in a very reasonable amount of time - faster than I expected.
This meal was exactly what we needed after a long week. Thank you, Soul & Seafood for taking such good care of us.

I can't stop thinking about the seafood combo I had at this restaurant! Each bite was a symphony of flavors, and the seafood was incredibly fresh. The service was impeccable, and the prices were reasonable. I'll definitely be back for more!

As a seafood enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for new culinary experiences, and this place did not disappoint. The oysters were fresh and the whiting fish fries coleslaw was the perfect way to end the meal. I'll definitely be back!

The food is very wonderful here, manager/owners very helpful! Now like many places you can’t really try foods and that determine if you like it or not but they will work with you so you can at least try some of the good sides. The food is always fresh to me and as far as seasoning goes I know that with the fried food they can never balance the seasoning in there because the batter comes premade. Otherwise I know they would limit some of the salt/pepper. But the fish was amazing! The waiters a very helpful and nice! The atmosphere is very quiet but don’t let it get packed in there because when it does, it does!

My family & I order here OFTEN. Almost weekly. We have tried almost everything they have to offer from the crab legs/country boils/king crab, ribs, oxtails, fish/salmon/shrimp, and the list goes on. Everything is flavorful & delicious. It truly is flavorful soul food, home cooking with tons of variety. And the cornbread is always great!
So, I'm not sure how the negative reviews came about, like not getting meat in their crab legs. But we haven't ever had that happen & we've ordered MANY crab legs & different style crab legs from here.
However, I can say that we have never sat down and ate inside the restaurant. We always order to go & eat at home. So, I can't speak on the service aside from the front desk people I've delt with, which have always been great.

They never disappoints! The seafood platter was a feast for the senses, with a variety of fresh catches cooked to perfection. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, making every visit a pleasure.

I recently had dinner at here, and it was love at first bite! The Crab Legs were packed with flavor. The service was prompt and friendly, making for a memorable dining experience.

First time coming to this establishment. We had Tiffany and Olivia as our servers, they were so sweet and super attentive! I had never had Oxtail before and now I want to learn how to cook it for myself. Also couldn't get over how good the greens were! Definitely will be coming back.

Wife not a sea food fan. She did not like what she ordered but ate it. Mine was great, the shrimp boil house spicy sauce hot. Very tasty shrimp large and very good. Along with one piece of corn and some potatoes.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant last night, and it was an unforgettable experience. The Fried Shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the Clam Chowder was divine. I highly recommend this restaurant to any seafood lover.

This place was amazing!!! They were short staffed but still made our experience great. Even the owner was out there serving and doing a great job with it. The food was very enjoyable and we were all full when we left. Definitely recommend.

If you're craving seafood, look no further than this place! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the tantalizing aroma of fresh seafood. The fried oyster was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. 10/10!

My husband and I were very pleased with our first experience here at Soul & Seafood House. I got the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with Mac and Cheese on the side. My husband got the low country boil. Everything came out fresh, hot and tasted amazing. Definitely recommend!
