The Pizza Joint

This was a pickup order although the place has both excellent indoor and outdoor eating options. Ordered small Greek salad, which was very good, the classic Stromboli, which was also excellent, and lastly, the Detroit deluxe pizza. Size medium. It was very tasty, but I initially thought it was small in size, but after having 1 slice, it is very rich and fulfilling.

Every time I'm in Aiken, it is a must stop! Totally love their pizza, and my kids say it's the best Cheese pizza they've ever had. My dad took us here about 14yrs ago when visiting him and so happy he introduced us to them. I have never had anything bad here. They have a great selection to choose from and a number of great specialty pizzas. They have a good number of tables and great wrap around covered decked to sit outside on those pleasant southern nights. The staff is incredible, especially Jordan and Trey. Jordan is a frigging fantastic manager, and Trey cooks everything to perfection. We tried their Detroit pizza this past time, with a few variations that they accommodated for us with no issues. If you're a local or live within 100 miles, you need to check this place out!

Great atmosphere and great pizza! Service was ok, but we had to wait for her and waive her down to get service sometimes.

Great atmosphere. Staff has always been on point with their service. Had the opportunity one night to observe the boss/manager making sure (on a busy night) everything ran smoothly and from what I observed it apprared so. With that, yes, I highly recommend this place as that speaks volumes with me! The perfect place to come and unwind from a long day at the office.

Hostess was extremely welcoming as we entered for our first dining experience here. Our food was hot and fresh and the drinks were ice cold! Our server was a trainee named Emily, very attentive to all our needs and made sure our cups stayed full. 10/10 will be back and request to have Emilys section!

Loved this place. Our first time there. The waitress was wonderful. Her first time alone serving. She was from Fla. So sorry I can't remember her name. We paid cash and do not have our receipt. Very attentive and friendly. We had the Big One Pizza. Really good. Great as leftover breakfast this morning. The spinach dip was great too.

After a long break from Pizza Joint post disappointing visit, we were looking for a dog friendly place to dine and decided to try this place again. It was a solidly good choice! The patio is spacious and yes it’s dog friendly. Service was very good . I had a Greek salad & cheese calzone and asked for it to be cooked light. The salad was really cold & fresh. Oh we also had some garlic bites- the marinara was outstanding. My calzone was perfectly cooked and filled to the seam with cheesy goodness. We were very pleased and can’t wait to return.

Great staff, they get customer service. Quick and delicious. They have 30 cold beers on tap.

The food at The Pizza Joint is always very good. I had the lemon pepper wings and the pj fries.

We wanted to try somewhere new on our visit. I will say the food was very good. The place was clean. The staff was very friendly. We had a large pizza but you can get by the slices if you don’t want a whole or medium. Will definitely come back here again!

First time here and will definitely come back!!! Pizza remind me of NY Pizza!! Calzone was delicious!!! Service was very good. I recommend this place.

Love this place. The service can be hit & miss but the management makes up for it. The oven pizzas are on point & not pricey. The pan is interesting but delicious..... if you like a variety of beers you'll love the menu here. Yes mellow mushroom has flights & a variety.... but the price isn't even close. If you wanna try a beer just ask for a sample they will be happy to pull you one. The spinach dip with the pita chips is a must try.... the bread is good too.. but the pita chips make this 😋. Mozzarella sticks are a favorite here... Thursdays is trivia night... come join the fun. & with Football season upon us, there are t.v. scattered, however pizza joint is currently closed on Sundays & Mondays..& thursdays is typically on amazon prime..... so college ball Saturday is currently only option.. but they're working on it ya'll. No delivery currently available at Aiken location. 😊😊👍

It is good to see that a great local chain has branched out. This location has the same simple quality and reliability as the flagship location I grew up with.

I’m not quite sure why the others are complaining, but, by golly! This has to be one of the best darndest pizzas I’ve ever eaten! Service was good, food came out quickly, we were seated immediately, and had a jolly ole time! Very pleased.

I ordered the pizza it was delicious🤤. my wife ordered the calzone she didn't like it.I did not either and the garlic bread was a little bad. But I will comeback to eat that delicious pizza and great atmosphere

I came here with my daughter and brother to try out their pizza. It was busy but not too loud. We ended up ordering a large Hawaiian and hot wings. Both the pizza and wings were amazing, the ingredients on the pizza were fresh and the wings were meaty and cooked perfect . Our server was very tentative and friendly. There was only one issue I had and that's that the booth seats are very worn and need to be replaced, but I would not let that stop me from coming back and trying more items off the menu.

Best wings I've had in a long time. Big meaty portion, crispy skin, juicy tender chicken... and the sauces are phenomenal! Sweet Chilli and Hot buffalo were awesome. The homemade ranch was a beautiful plus. 🤙

The wings were crispy and so tasteful. We also got the Detroit style pizza which came out crispy and hot and was also super tasty. The staff was wonderful as well.

We love pizza joint. Had lunch there yesterday with my husband and got dinner to go for the kids. Pizza is always great. Also got the Stromboli and fettuccini Alfredo. Chef’s kiss!
