Prime Steakhouse

The food and service was out of this world. If you want a classic steakhouse with high quality consistent beef this is the place to go. The ambiance is straightforward with an upscale vibe without being pretentious. Suzanne the GM went above and beyond to ensure the service for me and the tables around me were top tier. Thank you for making my holiday season special.

This has to be one of if not the best restaurants for steaks in all of South Carolina, including Charleston (where I'm originally from.) The owner ran a top restaurant in NYC before moving to Aiken, and it shows. The quality of the meat is unbelievable. Even cooked well-done the steak is moist and tender. Yes. It can be done. Excellent!

Phenomenal food and service. Every item was delicious and perfectly cooked. For those who don't know the difference between this restaurant and Outback, keep frequentimg the chain restaurants. Tip your servers 25% or better. Cheapskates!.

We're not particularly snobby when it comes to food. But having moved from FL recently, and having been extremely spoiled by places like Charley's, we're very picky when it comes to steak. Welp -- We're so glad we found Prime. When the meat just melts in your mouth, you know they're doing something right. And even the seafood is the best in town. Even more: service was impeccable. I had a marvelous 8oz filet cooked to perfection.. PERFECTION.. however I did not love the escargot, so they graciously removed the item from my check. Eating at prime was an experience, the atmosphere was wonderful and quaint. The service was impeccable, second to none... the best.. Sadly I'm not sure i can afford to go too many times a year, maybe a once a year special occasion. We met Randy, the owner and he was a very nice man.

Great Food, great people. Porterhouse for 2 is great! Also the best porkchop that I have ever had.
Save room for the key lime pie and coffee.

LOVE this place! Such a gem--the service from the moment you walk in to when you leave is A++. You can tell that everyone really cares about your experience. From the manager to the servers--they are all attentive to your needs. And "fogettabout" the food! Ridiculously fresh and delicious. Steaks of course are amazing, but so is everything else on the menu. I had an incredible Manhattan--their selection of bourbons is beyond. It's a fantastic night out. My husband and I absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back again!

Prime really delivers a wonderful experience. The service was great, our food was fantastic, and the atmosphere is a causal elegance which was wonderful for a birthday dinner. Our second visit and it was just as amazing as the first.

My husband and I had dinner at Prime Steakhouse for our anniversary. It was the first time we had eaten there, but it will not be the last. The food and service were exceptional! Dawn was our waitress and was quite attentive to our needs. Thank you for helping us celebrate tonight.

Great experience! Excellent food,.......served in a timely manner and cooked perfectly. Our server ("Summer" was fantastic, very personable & helpful), awesome bartender too who makes fabulous drinks! Loved the atmosphere,....we will definitely go back again!

Dawn was great. Susan was a wonderful host and manager. House salad dressing is lovely. Extensive wine list. Great drinks from the bar. Tight quarters, packed with great atmosphere. Steak stroganoff was OK - some chewy meat. We had a really wonderful time there.

Went last night for my birthday & had the best dinner ever! Started with a shrimp cocktail which was amazing. The filet mignon was so tender & popped with flavor, & the lobster tail was perfect. They even brought me a dessert with a candle in it. That was so dreamy & good. Thank you all for an incredible evening. Mary

The staff is immediate to the table. Also, they are knowledgeable on all bar and menu items. From the bread and appetizer, to the salad dressing (they only have one), to entree, then dessert, there wasn’t anything not delicious! And the service was probably the best I’ve had anywhere in a long time. Everyone talks to you, laughs with you. The manager is constantly checking on you and helping the staff. Very professional!!!

I see other comments about the pricing being high. IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY. They have specialty items you can’t get everywhere. Also, I looked at the menu online before I went, so I knew that if I’m paying $68 for a steak, everything else would be costly. So, I think people should ask before ordering if you’re gonna complain about the price.

It wasn’t just about the food. It was the whole experience. This is old school, professional service. No one apologizing for being “understaffed”. Can’t wait to go back when we’re in town again!

The cowboy ribeye was amazing. Everything was wonderful. Salad and bread were delicious.

I have ate there around 9 or 10 times and can honestly say I’ve never had bad service, a bad meal, or any negative attitude. It’s a fantastic restaurant with great service and a very kind staff.

Food was well prepared. Husband birthday he enjoyed the aged steak and my salmon and pea lalf rice was good and spinach gooood. I recommend. Go don't wait for a birthday . Anytime to enjoyed good food

Excellent food and ambience. Our food was prepared perfectly. Our server, Emily, was outstanding, very friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu items, and checked on us regularly throughout the meal.
