Plateau Electric Coop has always worked with my family when we were having a hard time paying our bill, they were very understanding and helpful.

PEC has always provided outstanding service to the community. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. This facility is very clean and well taken care of. The same can be said for the equipment and vehicles. No one gets excited about paying the electric bill, but they make it as painless as possible.

Easy setup when I first moved. Glad they started the app pay cause driving to drop off my check to avoid fees was getting annoying. I have lived in 11 different areas over the past 8 years for work and they are pretty expensive. I don’t even use that much electricity. Very friendly staff who has always been kind and cohetes when I call. and it’s the only option for power.

Not sure why, but they are WAAAAY mor expensive than any other power company. And I have lived in CA, OR, FL, AK, HI, and VT. Called to have some trimming done around the lines here, about 14 months ago and still, nothing. Our power is reliable and consistent. We may consider a grid-tie solar system to offset their exorbitant costs.

I HATE paying $8 per month to pay them. With COVID, I don't want to walk inside and pay, but I have to. Annoying they can't modernize like other companies and just do over the phone bill pay for free. Whoever dreamt up the ability to charge people to charge people was brilliant.

It seems like the electric goes out every time. The wind blows wrong. And now I can't even get anybody on the phone or report the outage online

Apparently sprayed the power line right of ways with something like roundup. Thanks, for nothing

This company's rates are INSANE. A "low" bill from them is around $250-$300 monthly. It's just nuts. I have never come across another power company with rates like theirs. I guess they feel they can get away with it since we don't have any other options out
here. Shameful. OH and they don't provide a disconnect notice, they just send someone to shut it off unannounced.

They dont care about your account privacy they will tell anyone who calls about your account. I had to call the cfo because of Alfred the manager in wartburg discussing my account details to another person.

They will disconnect before the due date if u pay cash and don't get receipt you'll have to pay again.

Who has to imagine a world without light? The power is off every other day. To what authority do I report this cooperative to? This is getting ridiculous.
