Twin Oaks

This place is beautiful! I have been twice and can’t wait to go back. Ed is the grounds keeper and he keeps the place in perfect condition. He also has plenty of good stories to tell, some true, some interesting.

Most amazing weekend. Super exclusive. I hear even Ryan Reynolds and Patrick Mahomes were turned away.

Beautiful property!

What a great place! Amazing property and location. We spent most of our first day looking for our friend Jim, who we thought had wandered off, only to discover five hours later he had locked himself in the bathroom in the camper. He was mad that it took us so long to discover him, but I was shocked that he didn’t clean the bathroom while he was in there. I mean, he was in there for five hours! He’s lazy, but we enjoy having him around. Ed the grounds keeper was great and gave us all a pink vest and a bear whistle to keep us safe from wildlife. He only had size small vests, and mine looked like I got it from the Baby Gap, but it kept me from eating to much around the campfire. We never actually got to see any bears, but we were ready! Ed took the time to go through all our luggage and gear, and place all things that we didn’t need for the weekend in his truck for safe keeping. He was right, it turns out I didn’t actually need my wallet, watch and laptop, but I did miss my Yeti cooler later in the weekend. Ed gave us some shovels before he left us, and showed us the best place to dig for clams, but I think we got the directions messed up, as we all dug for hours, but never found any clams. But can’t wait to go back and try again.
