CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital - Atlanta

I really don’t have any bad things to say about this hospital. I will say it is one of the cleanest and well kept I’ve seen. My mother has had to stay there twice in 3 years and the nursing staff was wonderful. While she was treated in the ER Dr Hozdic was also exceptional. He even allowed us to contact him personally for follow up questions. This is the way hospitals are supposed to conduct business! AAA+

Wonderful nurses and doctors I was treated for 3 broken ribs from a car wreck this very nice doctor immediately took care of me I stayed for 1 week in the hospital there overnight..awesome nurse Katherine kept me dosed up every 2 hours 30 mg oxycodone hcl very professional of her to care about my pain management more then her on doctor ! Thanks to you Katherine for going above and beyond your job god bless you and doctor garcia

I was there September 17th and got great service. They wheeled me straight to a room and began taking my information. Dr Price was very thorough and friendly.

I have been to this hospital several times and have always received the best treatment. The er doctor's are great as well as the nurses.

Great staff, very nice. They took care of me very fast. Love it!

Dr Chan and his nursing staff were very professional and caring of my mother. Excellent bedside manor.
However the security guard should be fired. He's rude and does not know how to talk to people. He's an ...... they could really do better for their patients than him

The receptionist very rude. Dr. Hogan extremely rude. He actually walked in to my Mother's room without a mask on and without gloves. He walked straight to the table I put my purse and drink and picked up my purse (not completely) then sat it down. WITHOUT GLOVES I just wiped down that table, my belongings and my Mother's. Her bed even the trash can, door handles EVERYTHING I possibly could. A very kind nurse let me use the sterile wipes hospital use to do this. Ofcourse access to as many gloves needed.
So I give them a 3 star rating mostly because of Hogan, then the receptionist. The nurses were wonderful.

Tried to park and drop off some food for my sick wife on my break at 6:30 on Wednesday. Was raining. Security was asleep in the emergency lane woke up and told me it was "his spot". When I told him i would be quick he got irate and said he wasn't going to talk about it. I told him I guess he was in the right spot as it looked like he was about to have a heart attack any minute. I apologized for waking him up and found a spot in the rain. Was out in less then 2 minutes. My shoes were wet the rest of the night.

Nobody reconized us being here. i had to ask who signs us in or wer. Been here 25 mins an no-one has talked to us.

I've been to the ER there twice. Both times issues. 1st time was the nurse and Dr. He had a street jacket on so was not recognized as a Dr. The nurse was terrible. My granddaughter was being seen. It was early in the COVID epidemic. She literally shoved the long qtip up my granddaughters nose so far I thought went into her brain.
That was terrible, traumatic, unnecessary, etc.
The second time the nurse that triages you was the best ever. I went there because I had just got my timeline and figured out I had to get a tetanus shot in the next couple of hours. She told me to wait there. That every room was full and it was this Drs 1st night here and he was the only Dr. She went and explained my injury that needed no treatment. I just needed a shot. He looked at the photo of an ice pick through my thumb. Had me unwrap the wound. He seen it was clean and no redness. He had triage re wrap it and give me a tetanus shot.
A month later I got a bill from the physician for 600 dollars.
I called the company and explained I was never even in a room. I got a shot he ordered and that was it. They said they would check into it and call me back. To their credit I never heard from them again. I did not need the stress. I know 2 other people at different times who almost died because of lack of care and concern and sent home. I gentleman went there 3 or 4 times and was told nothing was wrong and they sent him home. Then he had a stroke. A bad one. He was in the V.A. for several months going through rehabilitation re learning everything from beginning talking, walking, eating, etc.

St, Michael's you see these reviews............ DO BETTER!!
FIX THE PROBLEM!
So you don't have to try and fix the bad outcomes.
