Pine Island RV Park

Quiet location with beautiful scenery and friendly roosters wandering the campgrounds. Walking distance to restaurant and bayou.

Our stayed a week at this park and had a great time! The current owners bought the park about 9 months ago and and have made many improvements! The park has a clean bath house with new washers and dryers,. The RV sspots are spacious and have bbq pits and fire pits and each has an outside light. Pets are welcome and there is room to walk them. The park is in the country and peaceful but close to town and there are good restaurants within minutes of the park. The owners we very friendly and accommodating. Very glad we discovered this little gem!

Nested right next to Caddo Bayou this small RV park is a great escape from regular city living. The camp was clean and well spaced out with water and electric hookups. The managers are very friendly and helpful. They have a bathroom, washer and dryer inside a small building at the back of the complex. There is also a small dumpster to ensure a tidy campsite. It’s also only a few miles from a state park! The food selection is limited in the area but the park provides a fire pit area as well as grills conveniently located on each camp site. There’s even benches at each spot. There also appears to be covered RV parking spots as well. The gravel road is a bit hidden but easily found with a right at the RV Park sign. They even have a pool if you come during the summer months!! The mosquitoes are a bit much if you are unprepared for them down south/Louisiana since the bayou is right there. However a few candles and spray should be good to keep you walking on the trails nearby. Also for those interested it seems like you can take a boat straight from here to the Shreveport area!! Seems like a large majority of people stay for an extended time so it’s also fairly quiet during the day as well.

What a great place to stay! Barbara is a great host! Free firewood in a beautiful country setting. I stumbled upon this R. V. Park online. I am glad I did! Clean bathrooms and free washer and dryer. At the time I stopped there it was only $35 a night. I wish I could have stayed there longer. I was on my way to Baton Rouge. This was the halfway mark for me. Please stop here, you won't be disappointed! Gravel sites and they are level. I am stopping there again on my way home. 😎

This the plce to go. It was our second trip. A nice friendly little RV park. All the necessary amenities. And friendly hosts - better than family. You can check in, set up and chill out. Just relax and enjoy. A nice quiet country atmosphere. The tall trees surround you. And when you turn in for the night you will welcome the calm quiet - a good night sleep. Daytime - take a walk and meet some of the locals. If you must be active, take a short drive to Jefferson or Marshall for the day. Also take in the wildlife at the nearby wildlife refuge - saw deer and alligators. Caddo Lake State Park is around the corner. If you time it right you can make the flea market at Uncertain. All in all a great vacation destination.

Barbara and Larry Seegers have just purchased this park and have made substantial improvements. The most notable thing that is obvious is that they care. There are many improvements that you wouldn't see in a normal RV park, but they elected to do. Each site has it's own picnic table, umbrella, trash, wood provided for campfires and newly planted trees. The sites are gravel but level. The bathrooms are clean, not new, but clean and each one has a heater and AC. There is a dock across the road from the park to dock your boat, but it's not large and can't keep your boat there. With the renovations and closure of Caddo Lake State Park, this is a great option, and we will stay there in the future. They have full hookups, 40 AMP, clean showers and bathrooms and friendly and easy hosts to get on with.

This little hidden gem is amazing. Very friendly staff and perfect location. Right on the water and nestled away from the busy city. Close to the state park and a local restaurant. Has a real grill and fire pit at each site. This is THE place to stay and we will be back!

I must give this Park 5 stars since from nearly the minute we arrived I felt at home. Loved the fishing dock, met some good people and had a nice time. Another plus is the restaurant next to the park.

One of the best RV parks that We’ve been in for the last 20 years. It’s quite, clean, and the owners are great and care for their residents. Restaurants and activities are close at hand but most are only open Friday/Sunday . Keith O
