RiverBend Restaurant on Caddo Lake

This place is awesome! Amazing food with plenty of variety. From gator to burgers, it's all good. The screened deck is the best. Oh, and do yourself a favor and order the hushpuppies. (1st pic)

The food was all delicious - and *looks* delicious - and we were able to take home so many leftovers! We took my step-granddad here for his 65th birthday and both our waitress and the restaurant chef were super friendly to us, and treated him to a yummy hot peach cobbler after our meal. :) This restaurant is gorgeous, inside and outside. The environment will never get old, and the taste of the food won't either! I got the redfish dish and it was AMAZING! As was everyone else's food: burger basket, catfish, onion rings, and more. Definitely worth the drive out there to Caddo Lake!

Well we heard about this restaurant from a Local in Jefferson, TX. So we headed out to find in around Lake Caddo. It is a little off the beaten path, but the service was Excellent and the food was Super. We had the sampler platter which includes frog legs, gator, and shrimp with onion straws. Great tasting and fresh. They have a large cover deck or outdoor eating area with views of Caddo lake. Check this place out. They also have all you can eat catfish for a good price.

Everyone there were so polite and friendly .. my blackened catfish was perfect .. I brought a prom group of young Americans in the Limo there .. everything about the place was awesome and I felt so welcome there .. Grego the Limo Driver gives this restaurant 5 stars . Thank you so very much, I was so impressed by the Down home atmosphere... Even have docks for the locals to moor their canoe,kayak,bass boat,speedboat or barge .. toss a moor line and c'mon in as you are !

This place is a MUST stop. I’m not joking when I say these are the BEST hush puppies I’ve ever eaten, they’re like funnel cake hush puppies! The fish and shrimp are incredibly fresh, the chef and his wife are super nice and all of the waitstaff is incredibly friendly. Don’t sleep on the chicken fried steak or homemade peach cobbler! Everything we ate is delicious, made by people who truly understand good food and hospitality! You’re crazy if you don’t come here while at Caddo!

When we vacation in the area, we treat ourselves to a meal at RiverBend. Wonderful scenery, food, atmosphere, located on Lake Caddo with a seating area over the lake. We had blackened alligator, onion rings, cole slaw, pinto beans, fried shrimp, fried fish, and was so full we couldn't manage dessert.

We chose this place for our anniversary dinner, and it was wonderful. We got there right after 5 pm - before the dinner rush and before sundown. We had a table on the screened deck with a dramatic view of the river. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. The food was perfectly cooked, the fish, the gigantic jalapeno hushpuppy, and even the baked potato. The rice cole slaw and beans were incredibly tasty. The side of veggies were obviously frozen, but still quite good. Add that the weather was perfect for being outdoors, and I don't think we could have had a better anniversary meal!

If you get a chance to go to Karnack,Tx. You have got to stop to eat at the RiverBend ! It’s the atmosphere, sitting out on that screened porch, on Caddo River, sun shining with a breeze . I mean that is one great experience! The food is awesome as well! The Hush puppies are to die for! The steaks, and fish ... you have to go ! Love this place!

I was blown away by the flavors in every single thing I tried!! Thank you for making a city girl feel welcomed. I will definitely be back next time I'm out at Caddo Lake.

Anthony and his annointed wife were so sweet to us. This place is the perfect way to pretend you out of town. Simply beautiful. We had seafood, and it was awesome as well.

This place has it down! Fast service, friendly staff and pretty good food. We walk in with a family of 4 and was able to be set immediately. Our server was right to the table and got our drink order. She was very nice and did a great job. She got our order quick and the food was right out. The fish fillets were a little fishy but were still good. The shrimp were an absolute delight. They were not over battered like a lot of places. She kept our drinks filled and took our plates when we were done. Everyone in that place was working to make sure the customer had a great experience. The cook even brought orders with a smile. He didn't let food sit and wait on a busy waitress. I highly recommend Riverbend for their service and great food.

The food is excellent! Service by the staff is amazing! And don't get me started on the amazing view!

Definitely worth the drive! We all had the bayou dinners, fried catfish and shrimp. The set up included beans, coleslaw, green tomato pickles and hush puppies. There was no shortage of delicious food. Each dinner came with one additional side. We chose onion rings and baked potato which came with butter, sour cream, cheese and bacon. .
The restaurant was busy but they handled it well. Our only disappointment was not getting to sit outside. It was taken by 2 large groups .

Wife and I love this place! We have dined here 4/5 times since moving to East Texas. In our Opinion the BEST Overall restaurant East of Dallas / Ft Worth.

Although it’s a “ Fish House” You should definitely grab a Steak here. The chef will always come out himself to ensure you are happy.

Great food great service will be going again. We're from out of town and a local pointed us here and it was great!!

Little bit of a wait to get seated, but that's a good sign. Nice view from the dining room overlooking the river. My steak was very well seasoned, cooked just right, and presented well. Waitress was attentive, but not overbearing. My wife and I have been several times, and enjoy taking friends and family to experience this backwoods restaurant.

Ate here last weekend with my girlfriend. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Karah was a fantastic waitress. The location is absolutely gorgeous. Saw a couple people ordering the burgers and grilled chicken and they looked delicious. Will definitely have to come back and try the rest of the menu!
