Golden Chick

Never have we ever stopped at a place like this heading back from NM the crave for some fried chicken was strong. It did not disappoint I had 4 pieces of chicken with mash and gravy was yummy so delicious my kid had chicken tender with corn popper or something like that was gone I think he liked it we where still a bit hungry so we order their shrimp OMG that was so delicious I should have order 20 next time. The place was super clean and the people were so helpful and happy will definitely mark this location as a favorite.

We always stop on our way through and it’s usually pretty good but this time it was excellent! Everything was fresh and delicious and the staff was great.

Nothing comes close to the quality of this fried chicken. Highly recommended For it's flavor and texture. The buttery bread rolls
and crispy season fries are just second and none.

We came in with a large group, and the employees were great. Provided fast, friendly service.

Got there as soon as the opened, they doors, they where running a little behind, being short staffed, and people not showing up. But the crew that was there was busting their butts off letting customers know ahead of time of the situation and after the craziness settled down, they came out to talk and banter with the customers In the dinning hall! They definitely deserve great recognition for doing an amazing job in a stressful situation!!

Awesome pit stop. We needed to use the bathroom and eat. Whataburger was clean and nice! Folks were nice too

We had 4 different orders and everything was fresh and delicious . Catfish, chicken tenders and fried chicken combo. Good service! Happy customers. We will be back!

Super impressed by the cleanliness. Food and service were great. Scott was doing a fantastic job as leader training the staff present. Really appreciated his tone and willingness to create a motivated environment, it was so nice to see.

The tenders were perfect, taste, texture and temperature. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this location to everyone and I will return.

First visit and it was a pleasant experience. Scott extremely personable, definitely a people person and seems to love what he does! Spoke to every customer who entered, like an old friend. Staff were throughly cleaning everything..dining area, drink fountain, floors, tables. All employees working tonight, appeared to work as a team and enjoy their job. I didn't go to the rest room..so can't state how that looked. It was the perfect stopon our travels and will come back to this location, if ever I the area again. Thank you for wonderful service...which as of late...hard to come by!

I know it's a chain, but I had never been to (or even heard of) Golden Chick before stopping here for lunch on my week-long trip to Texas. The woman at the counter was very friendly, and the food was excellent. I wasn't expecting much, but their chicken tenders really were very good. It was the second-best food of the trip, and I'd definitely go back if I were ever near one again.

Food was really great , just the place was kind of dirty & dead bugs , crickets on the floors. Restroom did not have proper good working locks. One of the workers shoved the door hard enough & broke the lock & walked in on a lady that was is there.

We love Golden Chick. The best Sweet Tea around! Chicken is always good and fresh. The rolls are awesome. We eat there every chance we get. Their chicken livers and gizzards are always cooked just right. We have gotten our kids going there as well and they love it as well!

We are from out of town and passing through. Never heard of this place before but was very pleased! This place is awesome! The spice they put on the chicken was amazing. Staff was very friendly and the place was so clean! By far the best and cleanest chicken restaurant I have ever been into.

One word: Amazing. Friendly, Clean, and perfect food. Chicken was crispy and juicy. Rolls were buttery and melted in my mouth. We were happy! Thank you for a great meal. Monday's is half off chicken. Nice!!!!! More than enough to feed my family and great prices.

Berthina was enough to make me want to come back. She has great customer service and a warm welcome. The food was hot and tasted great. Only need the ice cream to top it off, but unfortunately Covid prevents them from serving it. Keep it up.

My favorite Golden Chick location no doubt! Food is always hot and fresh specially the rolls! Yum! I'm not from Sweetwater but I always make a point to stop here when i drive through bc they're quick, friendly, and not stingy with the condiments. Love this place!!

This place is always on my bucket list of restaurants when I come to Texas! Last nights experience was great! The service was quick and so friendly! And the food! So hot! So fresh! I'm pretty stoked to eat it again today! Hands down best fast food chicken joint! KFC, Popeyes, Chicken Express can suck it. Lol.*Zing*<--- see what I did there...
