Tasty Dip

Our Sunday night savior; we decided to take a few extra minutes for the short drive off Int 20 to have a real meal while traveling & it was well worth it. They make delicious fresh meat burgers & shakes that are the stuff of memories. Our mozzarella sticks & fried pickle spears were excellent, as well. Thanks to the staff for their friendly service at 8pm on a Sunday evening.

Honestly am happy that I stopped and turned back around after passing by this place! The spicy nuggets sign caught my attention but tbh, they’re like the ones you get at the store but the fried pickle spears were good and the upside down banana split and the dazzle Oreo shake? SOOOO GOOOOOD! Satisfied my sweet tooth and the onion rings and fries are good too!

Fast food it ain't... good food it is!! Had the cheeseburger and a vanilla malt shake... it was excellent... there was a wreck on I-20 that rerouted me through here for the first time in many years...a little like going back in time at this 1948 establishment... worth the wait!!

Banana split was so good! My daughter and I shared Chicken Fingers and fries, superb! They even waited for us to finish our meal before the ice cream was served! Outstanding! Yummy 😋

Exactly what you would expect from the pictures, an old school Ice cream and shake place that will surely hit the spot. Lots of different ice cream treats as well as some decent food.

We ordered 2 cheeseburgers,a milk shake,sundae cuo,and a child's cup for our dog. The burgers were amazing! They were cooked perfect. Not burnt or greasy at all .the sundae was perfect. I loved how I got to choose what to put in it. Also the milkshake they let us put 2 different kinds in it! The only thing is the staff could be more friendly. When you say thank you to someone,you would expect them to acknowledge you in some way not just walk away and act like you didn't say anything. Other then that our overall experience was awesome!! Will definitely come back.

Been going here many years when I was younger with my folks. An now I take my children out here for a better quality ice cream then you run of the mill food chains. The food it tasty an the ice cream 🍦 well very good as well. I recommend the stake burger you want be disappointed.

Amazing dairy queen quality ice cream. Great service. This place is historical, a hidden southern gem, and has a Stranger Things feel to it. I am glad that the owners have kept its original look.

There is no better place in my opinion to stop and eat at in the world. I drive 180 miles round trip to eat hear. I remember this place from 70’s and rediscovered it a couple of years ago. My kids love this place. I also found out that my grandmother might have worked in when they first opened. The service provided by the staff here is also extremely wonderful. I look forward to coming here as much as I can and my family does as well. Thank y’all.

I grew up in a small town with a nostalgic ice cream shop. This reminds me of that. Still the old remnants of yesterday in the shop. Good ice cream and sweet tea.

Sometimes it's not about problems that arise, but how they fix them. My cone was not fresh and I was really looking forward to it. I mentioned it and they took a large cup and filled it with ice cream. Great experience and customer service.

We stop there every time we are in the area...
Can't eat their ice cream too fast though, it will give you a brain freeze!

I -LOVE- this place! They have the absolute best best best milkshakes, in a really terrific and wide variety. They have even made some off the menu custom milkshakes for me! The food is nommy, but for me, the real draw is the amazing milkshakes! They take a little longer than other places, but these are hand made, and definitely worth the extra time! If you get a chance, you definitely should go!

We loved the Tasty Dip. The food was excellent and the people were very friendly. We sat outside at the picnic tables and had a very good time.

I love love love their big vanilla soft serve ice cream cones. And there chicken sandwiches are good…I just wish the whole place in general and parking lot looked cleaner. It just needs a freshening up or new paint or something.

A hometown classic! Always good food, with delicious milk shakes and hand dipped ice cream. Try one of their foot long hot dogs all the way, you'll love it.

Love... love... love... this place, Hamburger. Fries and the Soft cone Ice cream is to die for, they also have flavors that will add to the soft swirl I added 2 with my chocolate cone, strawberry and peach, really good. I would give a 10 but I can only go at 5 star.

Had the medium vanilla/chocolate swirl soft serve, it was delicious and service was great.
