E'Town River Restaurant

This restaurant is fantastic!! It's been a few years since I have been but it's just a good now as it was then. This time was really special because I was able to bring my 3 girls to see it all for the first time and they went crazy when they saw it floating on the river!!!

Great little place on the Ohio River. Not fancy which is fine with me. The catfish nuggets were awesome and there was a lot. I would recommend the potato salad, tater tots, baked beans and hush puppies. My husband also like the coleslaw and chicken tenders. If you're looking for fried food this is the place. Our server was very friendly, she was working by herself and there was a large party that wanted separate checks and she didn't get frustrated at all. We weren't in a hurry just like everyone else which I think helped her out. I definitely recommend this place if you happen to be in the area.

A bit off the beaten path for dinner..but well worth the drive and ferry ride from western Kentucky. The catfish river nuggets are so good!! Highly recommend the river nuggets. Cooked perfectly and no fishy taste at all. Even the non fish eaters would enjoy them.

Wonderful location. Great motorcycle ride. Our whole group got the river cat special and everyone was more than satisfied sweet tea was good as well. Will definitely be making a return trip. And on a side note two barges went by while eating dinner

They have the best catfish. If you are camping or visiting the area you have to go here. The restaurant and the outside area are floating on the river. We always eat on the top deck outside and watch the river. The only downside is they are only open in the summer.

The food was amazing. The staff was amazing. The outside area was a little worn but I loved the vibe. It was like eating on grandma's back porch but you are on the river.

What a wonderful place to eat. I not a big fan of catfish but I was delicious. They are other options of food but why would you drive to this place and not eat fish. Be ready to wait for about 30-40 but the wait is worth it. The portion of the wood is very large so come with a empty stomach. You might lose sign on the way there, the easiest way to make it is to Google Elizabeth town

Crowded, though handicap accessible. Since it floats, motion sickness could be an issue if windy. Has an outdoor dining area with a second story that also floats and picnic tables on the shore. Excellent service. Extremely polite and accommodating. Fish is local, seafood is not. $$$ Small servings for the cost. Some sides are frozen or from a can. Very family friendly.

Highly recommend the river catfish nuggets, we had taken a little getaway road trip to eat here and take a hike at the Garden of the Gods. This place was just the perfect treat, sweet/unsweetened tea, Pepsi products and a classic “River Restaurant” menu. Also, my fiancé and I both agreed, best hush puppies we have ever had lol. Catfish nuggets were perfect, nice flaky inside and delicious crunch on the outside and they definitely give you a plate full! Lol you will not leave hungry!

Took a motorcycle ride over to Elizabethtown decided to grab a bite to eat at E'Town River restaurant. I had the Shrimp plater, everything was delicious. Loved their slaw, creamy, great flavor. The hushpuppies appear darker in the picture than they actually were. They were perfect, crisp outside, tender inside, great flavor.The shrimp were cooked perfectly as were the fries. Our waitress was amazing.
You have a choice to dine inside or outside. Either choice you have a fantastic view of the Ohio River.

Our first time to visit since the change of ownership. Beautiful day Set & ate outside on the top deck. Food was delicious & our server was nice & did a good job

Seen this place on an episode of Meateater. Steve Renilla was right awesome place to eat! Brought the family from central Illinois and it was worth it! We had the Fresh caught catfish from the river and it was great!

The food was great and the owners even helped us get some fuel to continue down river. We enjoyed eating on the top deck.

Great place ON the river! We had a great meal here - fried fish, shrimp, hush puppies, great sides (they had chicken, burgers, sandwiches, etc as well)! The best part was the view. We sat on the upper level of their floating dock and enjoyed the barges, boats, and water flowing by. It helped that it was a beautiful day. A definite stop whether you are traveling through by car or boat!

Best fried catfish on the river! Today was my second time patronizing E-Town River Restaurant. The first time I visited was with my oldest son on a motorcycle enthusiast tour, 2009 just the two of us...and some rum, we were very impressed then and 9 years later with my wife and his daughter it is still j7at as I remembered. Funny thing wgen i returned home after my first visit I told everyone I knew about the place today when I was sitting at the table in walks a former co-worker and motorcycle enthusiast that I had mentioned it to..ha what are the odds..

The fish dock is by far the best restaurant to eat in Hardin County!!! The river catfish is awesome, service was fast and friendly. Well done guys.

Best fried catfish ever!. Get the Ohio River catfish. Great view from the upper outside deck. Service was fantastic. I have been twice in two weeks. I never order fish out because I did not feel anyone could beat the fish that we always cook at home. Hush puppies and potato wedges are fantastic also.

Friendly staff, delicious food. The fish is not greasy. Wonderful experience. Will go back.
