I've been under her care for 8 year's now. At first I didn't think I cared for her because she wouldn't answer any of my questions & I had a lot. I was scared and just needed to hear something but she was adamant on not answering anything without the full picture. I thought she was stand offish. As soon as she had all my records, labs, imaging, etc.. she called me personally to come in and sit down. She was excellent and thorough. She spent the next hour or so going over everything, allowed me to ask questions, etc.. gave me several different pieces of literature to go over and allowed me to make the decision on what medication I felt was a good fit for me. She always inquiries about my family, is always a phone call away & has even gone as far as calling me personally with questions after I call and talk to her amazing staff. She may not have been what I thought I wanted in a specialist but she is everything I need in one. She allows me to be a part of my care and has never disregarded my feelings or made me feel like a burden. What I thought was disregard in the beginning was just her wanting the full picture so she could answer my questions with full confidence and I've come to understand that now. She is a very strong willed woman and I'm so happy she's on my team. She doesn't mess around and I love her brutal honesty. Thank you Dr. Kumar for the excellent care you've been giving to me since my MS diagnosis.

Dr Kumar has been treating me for severe migraines for years. She is very dedicated to her patients, and she is amazing to work with. I absolutely adore her!

My wife saw Dr. Kumar last summer (2019) and we found her to be most pleasant to work with, very detailed in her explanations and instructions, and clearly interested in the patient’s welfare. Her office staff were also very good.

No beating around the bush, tells it straight up. Did not guess. Explains then suggests. I appreciated that. Very helpful with figuring out my Wife's problems. It appears some folks who have reviewed her, don't like that. I do.

She is by far the best neurologist that I have seen in over 30 years! She is very knowledgeable and helpful. She and her staff are also caring and kind!!

Dr kumar went way way beyond what other neurologists have done for me. She will get to the bottom of your problem., just be patient.

Dr Kumar never once let me finish a single sentence. When I brought up that there were a number of meds she prescribed that interacted with another med I was on, she insisted this isn't true and that "all meds are good meds and don't interact" and was constantly interrupting me when I would try to answer a question. I do not recommend this doctor unless you enjoy being ignored and talked down to. She became a migraine trigger for me after just 3 visits. I stopped seeing her after 6mos. Now, I refuse to be referred to her when an issue comes up. FHN needs to get a new neurologist so people have an alternative option in town.

She is very rude, does not listen and not professional at all. I only had 1 visit with her and refused to go back. She walked into the room talking on her cell phone. The entire visit she was either texting or talking on the phone. She made almost no eye contact with me and I had repeat myself several times because she was to busy with her phone. I'll never go back there.

Felt very uncomfortable she was mean stay away from this dr if u know what good for u I felt like I was just a number and she was in and out within a few minutes worse dr in the world
