Well, I don’t think it’s used as much anymore. It used to be an amazing place to see a movie. Hopefully it sometime in the future it’s opened again full-time

We've been here for some community events; the operators were warm and personal, the building quite historic and charming... a cool experience to experience movie theaters from a different time period.

The Aledo Opera House used to be an live action theater. Now the stage is blocked from view by curtans and a white screen. Movies are now projected on the screen. The movies are good, although there are artifacts in the projection.
