Indo China Gardens - Boyne City (TakeOut ONLY)

We had 12 people in our group and had difficulty placing the order online due to our out of state credit card. We called to place our large order over the phone. The person taking the order was very patient, thorough, and she double checked everything. The service was fast. When we picked up our order, she again double checked it. We received everything we ordered and every person in our group enjoyed their meal. We had a great experience with Indo China Gardens and would absolutely recommend!

I ordered Generals Chicken extra spicy. Not only did they kill it on my order, they added an extra spice container to mix in if it wasn’t spicy enough. Didn’t use it because they nailed it dead on but the fact they provided it just tells you the pride they take in making sure you have a good experience. Please support this restaurant so we can all continue to enjoy it!!!

Small niche eatery. Food was fresh. The portions were a tad small, but the prices were not outrageous. The plates were small so there better but is likely with the carry-out. Each dish that I tasted was carefully prepared, colorful and delightful. I would eat here again of I return to this area.

Best Chinese food I've had in long time. Beef Broccoli was tender and the fried rice soaked up the sauce, which made the dish even better. Crab Wontons and sauce were exactly like a now closed Chinese restaurant that was in Petoskey. Definitely recommend Indo China Gardens and will order from there again!

Ordered the thai curry special chicken pad keaw wan to go. Came with soup and crab rangoon. Got it to go and ate by the lake. Perfect lunch. Loved every bite.

Have enjoyed this place for many years. The egg drop soup is the best I've ever had! Food is always great quality, taste and consistent!

We were hungry for Chinese and seven of us had seven different things and everybody loved what they had. Take out only so I couldn't give the atmosphere of five.

Did not disappoint!
A beautiful evening — we wanted some Chinese takeout and the reviews were spot on. It was fast, fresh, hot, and delicious!
Ordered the happy family and chicken and shrimp with Chinese vegetables. They were accommodating with substitutions.
When we are back in the area we will have to stop back again start a new tradition.

We were very pleasantly surprised! We are visiting from out of town. The food was absolutely amazing. The spring rolls were full of flavor and served piping hot. The egg drop soup is the BEST I have ever had personally, and our entrees the beef lo mein and duck special were incredible. The atmosphere was quiet and typical of asain restaurants. The service was great and prompt.

Quaint little restaurant. First time there was today. Our waitress, Cassie, was so sweet and attentive. Food was fantastic. The egg drop soup is out of this world. BTW, if you like spicy food, this is the place. And if you don't like spicy food, this is still the place.

Their hot tea is great, service is great, soups are great, atmosphere is great, it's ALL great!
Everything is made fresh to order which is really nice, and their lunch & dinner buffet's are good too.

* Note to Indo China ~~ just keep doing what you're doing ~ please ~ all your recent improvements are great and dining experiences are a pleasure👍👍

Amazing food, best Chinese I’ve had since China town in Seattle.

It takes about eight minutes to get here from the Grand Mountain Lodge by Boyne Mountain Lodge. The atmosphere at the small restaurant is extremely pleasant. We came here with her two sons, ages five and nine. My nine-year-old is extremely picky and he said it was the best General Tsao’s chicken he had ever had! We also had the shrimp with Chinese vegetables. Both dishes were excellent. We have the wonton soup which was also amazing. Honestly, we travel the world and I have to say that this is probably the best Chinese food I have had! The service was pleasant and quick. The entire meal, for two entrées, three soups, one eggroll, and several drinks was $50 including a tip. By the way, my son ordered lemonade and I tried some and I have to say it was the best lemonade I’ve ever had! Not too sweet and not too sour! I wish that they had one of these closer to the Detroit area where we live, as we would go there every week. On the other hand, it’s good that they don’t have A restaurant there because it would cause of us to gain a lot of weight! Don’t hesitate to come here! Also, they do have a Thai menu but we did not have anything off of that side of the menu.

(Cheboygan location)It is our first time here. A friend who lives nearby told us about this place when we came to visit. Very nice people, very attentive and cordial. We had egg drop soup,tom yum and green curry. Food was delicious! The green curry in particular, the sauce is delicious amd the shrimp and chicken were cooked just right.
The server gave us free rice to go even after my companion broke their rice bowl😉.

Will recommend and wilk go back.

Me and my family love the food here, we don't go to often because personally we just like to consider it a special treat and boy is it a good one. Its a must place to go to. Great food and great service and atmosphere as well.

Best Chinese & Thai food in Northern Michigan. I'm not sure how they from their chicken pieces but they are crispy and delicious. I highly recommend the trip to Boyne City just for the food at Indo China.

They are one of the best chinese restaurants in the state. Food is always fresh and delicious. Better than anything in Northern MIchigan period. My daughters live in Chicago and can't wait to come home for some "good" chinese food. Staff is always friendly as well.
