W. W. Fairbairn & Sons Hardware

Ww Fairburn and Sons is a place that's been around forever it's been in the village of alanson as long as I can remember and that is 50 plus years and my dad said it was there before that. It's a hardware store and it's a great place to go if you need nuts and bolts or a piece for your furnace and you live in a trailer house that's my go-to place if I need furnace pieces that's where I go they normally have one on hand if not they normally find one they are wheelchair accessible but inside of this hardware store they have so much that it is tight so be careful it's wheelchair accessible parking lot s are just roadside parking or Street side. But if you can get on the sidewalk which you can then you can get inside it's a great place to go if you want to find something for someone that is into country dishes or Birds anything like that cuz they have that also check them out they got all kinds of cool stuff.

They pretty much have what your looking for and the place inside and out is very clean. The employees are very good at their jobs and show a great amount of respect and are very helpful in finding what your in need and if your not sure of exactly what you need they will help you figure it out. They also will come to your house to help you get your plumbing needs and heating needs fixed. Call them or go there you'll be glad you did.

Must visit this store if you're in the area. My daughter and I were traveling in the area with my parents and we were looking for an ice cream shop. The bird houses in the window of this hardware store caught our attention and we ended up going in. We spent an hour inside finding all sorts of gifts and souvenirs to bring home (including a "pollinator house"). The staff was very friendly, and my stepdad (who's spent 1,000s of hours in hardware stores over his 78 years) said it was one of the nicest, most organized stores he's ever been in.
So we didn't get our mint chocolate chip, but we got something far better.
