The Gizzard Shack

Wasn't quite sure what to expect from the name, but we looked at the menu and decided to give it a try - and it was great. Not a lot of indoor seating, but definitely worth stopping! Highly recommend and we would go out of our way to eat here - it's not fancy, more like really good home cooking.

I can't say enough good things about this place. It is tiny, but has big flavor! They had the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. I'm a big fat guy so I know my biscuits. I met "Biscuit Babe" and was very nice. She told me about the specials and said they often have meatloaf on Wednesday. I'll definitely be back.

Small restaurant and great atmosphere. friendly staff I've always go for the breakfast French toast and breakfast burritos are the best get there early if you want a seat

Hidden gem. Convenient and quick drive-thru only. All food made fresh. Best authentic homemade tacos. Many choices=always good!

Best food and an amazing price. Greatest customer service she always welcomes with a huge smile. It's a small place with very limited seating but so welcoming at the same time. I could easily stop and pick something up for every meal. From the breakfast 🌯 and salsa to the tacos/enchiladas everything is prepared with such care. If you haven't tried this place you must stop and hit the drive thru. I GUESS THE GIZZARDS ARE GOOD BUT THAT'S NOT WHY I STOP

Great breakfast burritos, amongst lots of other items on the menu. They also go to different sites around the city and serve up tacos, which can't be beat. Very cost-effective for the tacos and other Foods on there menu. I will be eating here again.

Only got chicken gizzards, they were really good. The lady was super nice and brought them out to our truck.

Love this place. We always get 6 burritos for our family and they r always amazing. We are moving shortly but will defiantly be coming back when we can for them. Only wish they were open on weekends. We always want them saturday mornings and forget they r closed lol.

We are Sunnysiders, born and raised here. We have eaten at the best high priced restaurants in Detroit, Tucson, Chicago, and Mexico City, even at Paco’s Tacos in Hawaii, but Brenda is a gem of a cook here. We skipped a crowded restaurant and chose the gizzard shack because of the 1.85 breakfast burrito, but I had to try the taco, chalupa, and enchilada! Wow! You can go to the high priced places, but you would be missing some great Mexican food in an open air table✌🏽❤🤙🏽 Advice from a hungry old hippie✌🏽❤
