The Beanery Cafe and Roastery

My first time here, my parents live in town and I visit them every few weeks. I came to grab a quick lunch, saw the menu as soon as I walked in. I'm glad it was close and I didn't have to squint to see it. I asked a few questions to the gentleman behind the counter. I arrived at noon, and made sure that the breakfast menu was still available. I got a croissant with bacon, cheese, egg. The bacon was huge and long! Super yummy! Only about $6. I also eyed up a pre-packaged lemon cake dessert and added that on. I think my total was $9.60. Very affordable! The 2 employees greeted me and answered my questions. I forgot to take a picture of my sandwich! I took pics of the bathroom, because I'm always on the lookout for accessibility for my mom.

Ran in for coffee and left with the lunch special too! Staff is welcoming, coffee is good. Beautiful coffee house atmosphere.

Wonderful atmosphere and treats. Good coffee. Great breakfast sandwiches!!!! Friendly staff. A great place to meet with friends or just relax with a coffee or tea. They also have Italian sodas.

Purchased a couple of hot chocolates and scones to go. Usually I order a coffee, but was not disappointed with the tasty chocolate! Scones were very good also!

I was on my way to a camp ground and needed coffee. I stopped here simply because it came up on my GPS as a coffee shop. So glad I did. Way more than a coffee shop. Deli, organic foods store, and all-around cool place. You never know what you'll find in small town Minnesota!

5 stars! I had the BLT and my husband had the Mcbean sandwich. BLT was amazing and they offer gluten free bread/options (and the GF bread was actually great, too!). We travel to a lot of coffee places and thought their coffee was very good, their Americano was bold and their vanilla latte was flavorful but not overly sweet! Dairy free options as well. Great for allergies and a good place to stop for allergy friendly snacks, too. Clean bathrooms.

Great service and good coffee, this places was really cozy and would be a great place to sit and enjoy a coffee and chat with friends.

Nice little sandwich shop next to Grandma's Pantry. Today we had salads and enjoyed fresh greens nicely presented. Everyone in Aitkin loves the coffee here, too.

Awesome atmosphere, it is a must stop in Aitkin. Great coffee and food. It us nice because they are connected to the co op too. You can do your shopping and grab lunch. A lot of the times they have events or specials going on too. Last time I drove by, they had live music.

Went in and found they had a lot of sugar free syrups to make different coffees. Great food to. Thank you.

We go here quite often. When it's busy there is a long wait but while doing so there's comfortable seating with WiFi or sit down to a game of cards, cribbage or chess. It's has a good atmosphere to sit and chill. I usually enjoy this place with adults and I don't typically bring my kids. They have played a game of chess or two tho.

Perfect spot for an Americano and pastry. All the charm of a small town with the quality coffee and pastries to rival any large city. You won't be disappointed!

I may be a bit biased but I've also been coming here a lot since the first location. Great food and drinks but since the move right next to Grandma's Pantry things have only gone up in quality. For over ten years the Beanery has been the go to place for coffee, muffins and cookies, panini or a great salad and now more options! The decor inside is beautiful and I am excited to sit down for a while with a sketch book and coffee and relax in this beautiful new location.
