There was so much to see and do! Everything was reasonably priced. The food was delicious, and the people were friendly and knowledgable. I appreciate all the work that goes into organizing this every year. Thank you to all the volunteers! Can't wait to go back December 3rd!

This place is amazing! And just as fun in the winter. It's like you are going through a real life museum, or went back in time.

Always a great event. Bring the kids. Enjoy the history and going back in time to the 1800's. Learn about the Souix uprising at this tiny town and how the events played out. $5 entry. Food and gifts are available for purchase.

I always seem to forget to take photos which is most likely a sign that I am enjoying myself. This is a very unique place, if you're interested in history, you will find it here. If you can handle the cold Christmas at the Stockade is definitely a must do!

Great place.... Historical situated in beautiful country! Where the "war within a war" was fought in 1862.

It was so fun! Our kids had a great time listening to the live music and wandering thru all of the authentic stores, churches, stables etc. that were set up. Trying all of the different foods was also a highlight for them and it was very reasonably priced. We will definitely put this on the calendar for next year!

Great historical and educational venue. Wonderful step back in time. One weekend in the summer and I think one day in the winter. Don’t miss it!

It was great. The weather was great. The food was just as good. The whole event was just unbelievable. If you never been it's a must. It's always the third weekend in August and the first Saturday in December. If you want to see how they lived and did things back in the day (1862) you have to see this place.

We come every winter for Christmas at the stockade! It is so much fun, the food is delicious and we always seem to learn a few things too! Dress warm if you go in the winter and be ready for a trip back in time.

Historical recreation of an 1870s era town. Visited during the Christmas celebration weekend and the only disappointment was arriving too late in the day to see it all. Local historical society members recreated a glimpse into the lives of people from a time gone bye.

Aug 18, 19 stockade will be open 10 to 5. Great place to being kids and the stockade. This is a replica of the original only a few hundred yards from where the original fort stood. Sioux uprising 1862 era. There is also a reenactment cap you can walk through to the of the stockade. Great place to spend af day. Being money for food. Entry is a nominal fee. All's a pioneer Christmas is always the 1st Sat in Dec. Again a great place to being family.

Historic site with lots of demos of life I'm the late 1800. Food and crafts for sale. About 2-3 hours of time spent with the family there each year. Live music.

Been coming here for 28 years, camped here for 25. It's grown to impressive size and has plenty of offer. Come for the homemade ice cream, stay for the people.
