Albert Lea Family YMCA

It is expansive. Lots of room. Lots of variety in workout machines. I love getting sunshine through the big windows when running on the treadmill. The free weight room is separate from the cable machine room. If you are a beginner you don't have to mix in with the serious body builder types.

Every program our son has attended from summer care to all of the basketball courses to swimming lessons have been great. All of the instructors are patient and knowledgeable.

Our family has loved the kids programs offered at the Y. We are so grateful for the smaller group sizes for our 1st grader to learn more basketball skills.

The place is the place is great. It takes my insurance. Everybody's really helpful

Really nice YMCA for the size of the city. I was a visiting YMCA member from WI and they were very accommodating.

It was my favorite place to go when I lived in town a very supportive group of serious lifters. I wish more gyms where like this one. Sadly most gyms now days are becoming like Planet Fitness don't try too hard, don't make any noise, try not to deadlift.

I love taking my kids here for swimming lesions. The instructors are very helpful and the class size is small. Will definitely sign them up for higher level classes.

I found this YMCA to be small, but very effective. I was staying nearby while on vacation, and the staff was very helpful, the equipment simple to use, and it wasn't overly crowded.

I love the machine that has your lower body rotate all the way from one side to the other.
Really trims the waist.
