My family willingly drives 45 minutes from Lincoln just to see Dr. Morrissey. She is friendly, helpful, informative, and incredibly efficient; appointments are always timely but never rushed. Katlin is a huge asset - well-versed in insurance coverage, has a thorough knowledge of their inventory, and will help pick frames to compliment your style. The shop itself is bright, spacious, clean, and always offers the latest frame styles. We love them!

Nicole is one of the best! She takes great care of my family’s eye care needs. She is thorough and up to date on the latest treatments and options. Her eyewear selection is stylish and current. Our small community is blessed to have someone as skilled as her, offering quality care and a trendy frame collection all in one local stop! Thank you Dr Morrissey😀

Downtown Family Vision is a very nice and comfortable place to go for eye care and has a great selection of frames to choose from. Dr. Morrissey is very thorough with her eye exams, which I greatly appreciate! A very friendly place and they are very helpful there! You are definitely not just a number at this place!

Dr. Nicole Morrissey is a wonderful optometrist..You can be guaranteed that Dr. Morrissey will give you a full through examination and Kaitlin will be able to help you pick out the frames that best meet your needs!
Nicole was able to determine that my son needed eye therapy and referred us on to a specialist. I can’t say for sure but I don’t know if just any optometrist would’ve been able to see the need for that. Totally changed kid!
Wilber is so very fortunate to have her. The office is up-to-date with technology, you get big city services without the big city prices. I highly recommend Downtown family Vision.

Dr. Morrissey and Katlin were very friendly, open, and professional. I only waited around five minutes for my appointment and I had paperwork to fill out anyway. The waiting room was very airy and clean with big windows and good circulation. There were books for children and magazines and the chairs were comfortable. There was also a coffee maker but I didn't have any so I don't know the quality of the coffee. Dr. Morrisey was very proficient and worked quickly but not hurriedly. I didn't feel rushed and we chatted as she worked. Dr. Morrisey was very honest about the future of my eyesight and gave me advice on how to maintain my eyesight for as long as possible. She answered all of my questions and gave me advice for buying glasses on a budget as I don't have insurance. Katlin also priced some frames for me from their own stock and put aside my chosen pair in case I do decide to purchase glasses from Dr. Morrisey. They accept Care Credit and possibly other medical credit lines. Katlin told me that they send "thank you" cards to referring patients which I thought was really nice as a relative referred me.

Dr. Morrissey is a gem! She truly cares for you and your entire family. She is an excellent optometrist and has an awesome selection of frames!

It's been almost a year now since I got my new glasses. I wasn't used to wearing them for about three months.

Shortly after getting my new glasses, I suffered a flat tire on my vehicle. While I was under my truck, I took my glasses off because I was sweating in the Nebraska heat. I took my new glasses off and forgot to put them back on. They ended up being run over by the tire I had just replaced. A couple miles down the road, I realized that I had forgotten them under my truck and doubled back to find them crushed on the shoulder of the highway.

I was really bummed out by the incident and reached out to Downtown Family Vision the next day and let them know what happened. Not only did they quickly respond, but they ordered a new pair of glasses and I had them within a week, and at no extra cost to me!

Huge thanks to the folks at Downtown Family Vision in Wilber for being there for me and going above and beyond to replace my destroyed glasses!

I definitely recommend DFV to anyone who is need of eye care! There is nothing like small town businesses helping those in their community!
