My new favorite venue for live music! A hidden gem. I'm still cracking up because I thought a busboy was seating us and it turned out to be the owner! He gave us the best seat in the house: a high top with a clear view of the band. I can't say enough about the service that we experienced. It was crazy busy but not once did I sense a hint of stress from anyone we encountered. On top of the phenomenal service, we had an excellent prime rib meal that hit the spot. This was our first time and definitely not our last. What an amazing experience. Thank you so much, Buck!

My only regret is not getting a picture of our meal and our awesome server!

Update: I've been to Buck's a half a dozen times since my first visit a year ago, and the experience has been consistent each time. Buck's is very well run and the food and entertainment are always top notch. Looking forward to many more visits in the future.

Stayed nearby and ate both nights there!! Jennifer is the best waitress ever!! Everything seems to be 100% homemade! If I'm in the area I'm going back! Chicken fried chicken and a side salad! Delicious!!!!

It's one of my new favorite places. It's quite the drive for me, but it's worth it hopefully once a month. I didn't eat, but the food looked incredible. The bartenders were above and beyond, and I'm so happy I had tickets to the live music that night. It's a dive bar, but that's what makes it so much fun.
The only downer was I had ZERO cell service!

Love this no frills place! I came in to town from Ohio and was told they had the best country fried steak....umm haven't had one of those since I was a kid, but I was game. It was delicious! Great service and the place was slammed! Get there early!

I gave 5 stars due to staff who took care of an issue. Both children's burgers were over done and non edible, but staff took them off the bill. The rest of the meals were good. We arrived early knowing we had a large group, and didn't want to overwhelm the cook staff. Great job serving staff, and cooks please don't serve what you probably wouldn't eat yourself. We'll be back again though.

It's a dive bar atmosphere. Where you can relax with your freinds and favorite adult beverages. The food is fantastic for pub grub. I recommend you come hungry! The pork tenderloin is as big as your head. They also host live bands at night. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend a evening at Bucks. Come as you are and stay until close.

As always Bucks bar exceeds expectations! It is NOT your average bar! The food is definitely not typical bar food. While they do have the typical bar burger you will be pleasantly suprised by the flavors! The prime rib is great. Taco Tuesday is my favorite! Live music is always on point and of course the owner is one of a kind! Worth the short jaunt to Venice Ne! And if you are passing through... make it a stop for sure! Even if it's just for a cold beer and the atmosphere! ❤

Our 3rd trip to Buck’s from Minnesota and well worth the drive, even during a “snow squall”. 🥶❄ 🤷🏼‍♀ My favorite place to see a show - small and intimate and you feel connected to the audience and the artist. Staff is always friendly and efficient and food is fantastic. Last night my husband had the filet and I had the prime rib dip, both were excellent! Thank you to everyone at Buck’s for a great night, we WILL be back! Shoutout to Court (sp?) and our servers last night, and the cook - we enjoyed chatting with you after the show. And thanks to Buck and Tara for having such an awesome bar. ☺🍻

My husband and I tried Buck's for the first time tonight and could not be more pleased. From the moment you enter, you are greeted with a smile and a big hello. The service was incredible. Every server was friendly and attentive. The beer was ice cold and the food came out quick and hot. We had the chicken fried steak and the chicken fried chicken. Both could be cut with a fork and portions were generous. On our way out, the owner thanked us for coming and was very genuine. I think we found our new spot!

Found this place while driving to Mead. Looked up the google reviews and decided it was time to check it out. We were not disappointed, the food was awesome and the waitress was very attentive and helpful on some decisions. Buck’s is a place that we will return too.

When we come back to NE from AZ this is our #1 stop for Sunday night Chicken Fried Chicken. We had a great time, food was superb & Megan treated us great & with a smile. Cheeseballs are the BOMB! Just look at that yummy picture! Thanks Buck & Tara! 😉

Awesome Sunday afternoon with Barry Boyce! The waitstaff was great despite a super busy crowd. Food was surprisingly good, I expected bar food and was surprised by the great. Menu. Thank you, we definitely will be back!

This place was really good. I loved the chicken fried steak. I'd definitely try it out if you haven't already. They were also doing karaoke while we were there.

There's no dive bar that can compete with Buck's in the area. Between the food, awesome staff, and atmosphere... There's nowhere else I'd rather spend my weekend nights

Buck’s is one of our regular spots to grab a casual dinner with friends. We love the beautiful drive out on Q Street, the friendly staff who make you feel at home, the low key comfortable atmosphere, and the cozy food. Some of our favorites are the fried chicken, the filet, the steak Philly, and the cheese curds.

Took my first trip to Bucks to check out Joe Stamm and Kenny Fiedler on back to back nights. Great little dive bar. Top notch

The service is always excellent. They serve up comfort food at reasonable prices. Don't let the honky-tonk vibe fool you, Buck's is a gem.

Great food and service! The atmosphere was pleasant. We had the jalapeno poppers, buffalo chicken sandwich and a cheese burger. The food was hot, fresh and cooked properly. The prices are fair. Our waitress was prompt and very friendly. I'd eat here again.

Definitely worth our 8 hour drive. The food was hot and delicious, the servers were friendly and fun, and the atmosphere was tops! Thank you for an awesome night out!
