I just had an amazing experience at big 5. Earlier this week I ran in to buy a new pair of shoes for work. I have had a good experience with this brand in the past. However this time I did not because I did not by them in wide fit they did not fit correctly. I even wore them one whole day at work. When I bought them I threw away the box with the receipt. I brought the shoes in a couple of days later and asked if I could possibly return them and choose another pair and just pay the difference. To tell you the truth I have worked in customer service before and I know that without a recipe there's not much a manager can do. But I spoke with the manager on duty named Cheree and explained my distressing situation to her. She took the time to ask me how I paid , and because I paid with a card she was able to return them so that I could buy a shoe right for my foot. Thank you Cheree and Big 5.

I honestly love the merchandise they have it's always a good quality. Also the team members were so helpful I dont usually get such good help but I recommend this place for nice shoes and cute sports clothing. I got really nice shoes and they ended up being way cheaper then I thought, so that was a score. I do enjoy stopping in every now and then.

I can always find everything I need here for sports and outdoor equipment. It can be pretty expensive but I get the emails and use the coupons.

They open early at 9:00 a.m. and I was able to pick up a baseball helmet in time for my son's game. Good selection and great service.

Staff were helpful and nice. I bought a pair of workout pants for $16.99 on sale, I got additional discounts at the register and ended up paying just $9. What a nice surprise!

I actually live in Gig Harbor but am in that area a lot really like the employees there they are very pleasant to deal and always there to help you. Compared to others stores I guess it could be just the bigger city thing.

I found the baseball pants I needed at a reasonable price. They have a dressing room, so that helped us to be sure.

They saved me $40 on a pair of shoes the day after the sale ended. Don't forget to check out there circular. I regularly find a $ 10 off coupon in it

Everyone is really friendly there, assisted me as I walked in. Great place to buy some shoes if you know how to find them. :)
