I woke up a few weeks ago and my pipes were frozen and no water. I live-in a mobile home, in a VERY REMOTE area of western pa, with noone to help me. The plumbers in this area are few and to be honest not trustworthy. Regardless, the 1st # I called was Anderson Shortell, an Angel answered the phone, Joe Zerpa!! I was almost hysterical trying to get help, he was calming and reassured me he was on his way to help. It was a Saturday afternoon, 9 degrees outside. He showed up and within an hour I had water. I couldn't believe my water froze as the year prior I paid a local "contractor " to put in all new heat tape under my mobile home
What Joe found under there infuriated me to the depths of extreme anger and disappointment. The previous "professional" placed a cheap, 10 ft piece of heat tape over one area on the outside of an old piece of insulation. Joe was shocked himself,,it was obvious I had been dupped and taken advantage of. What I learned is that there are people, businesses who take pride in their work, and HONESTLY CARE ABOUT their clients. Anderson Shortell will be back to help me with all new heat tape and insulation soon. I recommend this business at 100%. Joe Zerpa is a Master plumber and saved me that day, I'll never forget it. You wouldn't be in business for 100 years if you behaved like the "contractor " from Port Alleghany, pa did, when he literally ripped me off, and put me in a very precarious situation. It was a miracle that Joe picked the phone up that day. Call this company for any needs they can help you with,and rest assured,,your in the best hands possible!!

Anderson Shortell did an amazing job on our bathroom. What we thought would just be a simple toilet replacement turned into a full remodel when we opened the can of worms. They were also able to repair my beautiful old kitchen sink so I didn't have to replace it. They explained all work being done and were kind to our 92 year old grandmother. Highly recommend, will definitely reach out to them when we are ready to update our heating system.

We've used Anderson Shortell three times now and each time they have been great. Our latest requirement was that of a hot water tank replacement. Joe was our service tech and he came out and got our new one installed. He even moved the gas line so that it fit more efficiently than the previous. He then talked us through future options as far as tank-less systems and combining our current heating system down the road.

Anderson Shortell answered on a Saturday and was able to trouble shoot our tankless hot water tank with expertise. We have relied on them more than once and have been proven faithful to providing a fix!!

Omg, I called and Ben was here within an hour. Fixed my furnace and amazing price too. Highly recommend 20/5 Ben was wonderful, professional and personable at same time. Greatest fastest and best experience EVER from a heating company. Keep up the amazing work!!!!!!

Anderson has always been very responsive in emergency situations. Today the technician got here very quickly and did an amazing job with our installation. Dana and Zach from Anderson Shortell came to install a new heater for us, as the old one wasn’t working anymore. We called at 7am and they were there by 10am! They worked quickly yet efficiently. They were extremely friendly and VERY neat in their installation. They worked right through until after 5pm to make sure we had hot water and heat before they left. They cleaned up after themselves and even washed our floor to make sure everything was clean! 10 out of 10! We will be using them again to install a water softener very soon! I would recommend Anderson Shortell to anyone! Thank you Dana and Zach! We couldn’t be happier!!!

I called Anderson Shortell on the coldest day of the year as a Furnace Malfunctioned / Shut down completely. They responded in less than an hour. They brought heaters with them which was needed to prevent the pipes from freezing. They inspected the furnace, determined it was in need of replacement because it was not repairable. After carefully explaining my options, they were able to replace the unit on the same day and at a reasonable price. This mechanical malfunction would have been MUCH worse had it not been for their quick response time.

Brian, the Service Technician, was able to save us a lot of money and he actually arrived 2 hours earlier than expected. He was thorough and provided us preventative maintenance tips/education, and with some extra work, he was able to almost half the normal cost of such a repair by other businesses. Recommend, indeed!

Can't speak enough for Anderson Shortell. They gave me an estimate lower than everyone else and charged me less after it was done (Everything went smooth). After owning a house in Olean for 2 years we had a clog in the main sewer pipe due to a failing 'Orangeburg' sewer pipe. After the pipe was unclogged, we got several quotes and estimates from the major plumbing companies in the area and Shortell came in at the best price. Everything went smooth and they were in and out in one day. Very friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and hard working. This is my first experience with them but they will be the only call I make for any of my future home heating and plumbing needs. Save yourself a ton of money like I did and give these guys a call.

We had a gas leak from some old pipes. Bryan was incredibly friendly and showed up within an hour of when we called. The job was done within a few hours. Great service!

I am truly impressed and extremely grateful for the excellent work done to fix our radiator leak. They were quick about it, very friendly and also found other minor issues we had and repaired those. I would recommend this company to absolutely everyone I know!! Thank you so very much!!

Recommended by a friend. Great Service, non-emergent call for a drain that was plugged. Tech arrived early. No issues, very professional, gave me tips on how to avoid problems in the future and made some long term recommendations for possible repairs if needed. Will be my go to service for plumbing for sure.

We call them for all our heating and plumbing needs. There very flexible with payment options. And the techs that come to your house are very knowledgeable and they do there best to have everything fixed when there done. Very highly recommended

Can't say enough about Anderson-Shortell. Had these guys install a Heating/Air Conditioning system. Their professionalism and craftmanship were second to none. You can tell these guys are PRO'S. They know what they're doing, they work fast and they care! I'll be calling no one else but these guys from now on for any HVAC or plumbing issue. A truly happy and satisfied customer. Service manager was responsive and had a guy out in a couple of hours.
"Kone" was fantastic. Super friendly. Fixed the issue quickly, cleaned up and got us back up and running. Highly recommend.
