Mead Park

This park is amazing! I'm so happy to see all the improvements. This has everything you could want from a neighborhood park. A huge playground, basketball court, volleyball court, horseshoes, tennis court, beach, walking paths, restrooms, plenty of grills and picnic tables, a neighborhood garden, shelters and restrooms, a Little Library, open spaces, disc golf, and a bunch of Pokestops and gyms. They did such a great job with this place! Right on the water, so you can fish, or swim, or put out canoes. I can't believe how much work they put into this park. I rate this as one of the best small parks is in all of Wisconsin, and I've been to a LOT, all over the state. Stop here! Bring your kids! This place is awesome!

Love this park!!! The ONLY actual dog beach that we have found in Wisconsin to date! Located along the Wisconsin River, fenced in and super for all our fur babies!!!

My kids can come and play for hours. It's always clean. It was nice to go and be able to hear the music being played in the park near by. We all enjoy this park

Our kids favorite play spot in Stevens Point. The playground is fantastic with something for just about every age. Agree with others that it is so big it's hard to watch the kids from one vantage point, and parking can be limited on busy days. Great park!

I go here to play Pickleball! There are six nicely maintained pickleball courts. This is the best place that I've ever played pickleball at. It is set up for pickleball. So, the courts are not inside tennis courts, which is great! There is a playground here for the kids. Also, in the building near the courts, there are restrooms and a water fountain. There is a disc golf course here, too! This is probably the best park you could find! And a great place to play pickleball!!!

Handicapped parking and very clean park restrooms that are also handicapped usable. Very nice playground equipment, well cared for. Lovely views about the area. Nice walking path also. Visit the bridge in a short walk. Loved the colors of the trees. Many garbage cans in the park. Nice area to walk about

We stumbled upon this very large park up north on one of our Facebook adventures. Even in the cold the place was great for the kids. Very large structure and great view of the frozen water.

Great park for all ages, lots of things to climb on, sand box tennes court next door.

So many things to do here! From picnicking to tennis to enjoying the playground and more! It's a great family friendly place to go!

The park is for kids with all kinds of needs. It's disheartening to see grownups smoking, spitting, cursing. It's not a place for a pet. Just leave the pet at home. It's designed for kids not pets.

What an amazing place to take your kids, I am originally from Toledo, OH and parks like this are few and fat between. Very well maintained and very safe obstacles and the community is very friendly about bringing your pets

A truly beautiful and wonderful park for all ages to enjoy spending that much needed bonding time with the little ones. This city loves to give anything it can to help them little rascals learn and grow in a positive environment.

Best place to take your dogs swimming. Not crowded. Nice shady area so you don't bake in the sun. Sandy beach. Bring your chuckit and balls for your dogs!

It's a great little park. It has activity stations, a great playground with a sea serpent, discgolf course, horse shoes, a tennis court, and out door grilling/picnic areas.

This is hands down the best park in the area. The soft rubber playground is complete with fun and safe play space for kiddos young and old. There's also paths, lighted tennis court, baseball diamonds and pavilions for rent.

This park is very clean and big enough for both adults and kids to run around in. I usually end up playing kick the can with my kids and several other children who want in on the fun. Love this place!

Played the nine hole disc golf course on the river. It's a good course for beginners. Nice views of birds and the Wisconsin River.

This park has the best playground in the county hands-down. The aforementioned playground is famous for handicap accessiblity. For such a big attraction, finding a parking space can get somewhat challenging on the busier days.

Mead Park also features a 9 hole disc golf course restrooms, tennis courts, a basketball court, and a swimming area. Not to mention plenty of picnic tables and a beautiful view of the Wisconsin River. This place is definitely worth a trip.
