This is one of two major wilderness areas in Cache Valley (the other one is the Naomi Wilderness, in the Tony Grove area). The Wellsville Range is really steep, climbing through several changes in climate as the elevation increases rapidly. There are three main entries: Rattlesnake Canyon, Cold Water Canyon (the steepest), and Deep Canyon (the most picturesque).

Beautiful and really green. The trail is pretty steep and overgrown in some areas. But there is an abundance of flowers and views. Highly recommend this hike.

Beautiful mountains where the whole wilderness is your playground. Must climb the top of the range and walk the ridge to fully appreciate!
