Review for the Wayne's Loop trail. This is an amazing hike. Great for hikers of all levels. Be warned though that this hiking trail is frequented by mountain bikers and the trail can get narrow. The variety though makes up for it. One moment you think you're in a rain forest and the next you're back in the northern Utah desert. Just an awesome hike. Go early to see the sunrise.

Hiked north to south from deep canyon to rattlesnake trailhead (~12 miles, 4500' of elevation gain). Great views of cache valley and to the west from all along the ridge at the top (you can see from Tremonton down to Brigham City and the Great Salt Lake) and from the 2-3 peaks you can summit along the way.

Both deep canyon and rattlesnake canyon were really pretty. There were raspberry bushes along the trail in deep canyon (with some ripe berries!), and the ferns in rattlesnake canyon were really pretty.

Hiked it August 9th and was surprised to see that there were still tons of wildflowers out.

We hiked Wayne's Loop today. I hiked it along with my five children (ages 4-13). If I didn't have 4-wheel drive with high clearance, I wouldn't have felt comfortable driving along the last part of the unpaved road to get to the trailhead. But that shouldn't stop you from going here. Just park at the bottom of the dirt road and walk 0.25 mile to the trailhead. This trail is green and lush and beautiful!! Not only do you get to see a beautiful view of Cache Valley in some parts, but the view of the Wellsvilles as well! My kids counted over 40 caterpillars that they found along the trail and over 10 species of wildflowers. Every turn of the trail feels like a new adventure. Perfect place for a date, a group hike, mountain biking, trail running and a good ole nature walk. This is a must see!!

Great place to take dogs. We always go amd see a few cars parked but never run into anyone on any of the trails. The mountains are beautiful and peaceful. The trail is packed down so you always know where you are going.

So beautiful! Plenty of shade. The loop is an easy hike, good for little ones. The beginning surprised me with how steep it was but I am just getting over a cold, so that may have contributed to my windedness. Haha

Absolutely beautiful walk and safe for families. Beware bringing a larger vehicle unless you are okay with getting some scratches from low-hanging branches on your way out.

Awesome place. Cool haunted forest feel.

Has a biking trail system down in the hollow that I've been back to several times for easy late fall riding with my kids.

Wouldn't feel like the world's happiest place after dark because of all the twisted, viny vegetation. Beautiful by day though.

Beautiful moderate hike. Easy and fun for young kids. I took kids ages 8, 6 and 4. There are fun dips they liked running up and down and it is very green!!!

Gorgeous. Green vines should be hanging from trees by mid June. Yellow sunflowers were out along with a host of red Indian paint brush flowers and others -- blues and whites. Rain has made this corner of the world lush and omnigreen.

This loop trail is a beautiful 3 mile canopy trail. The deep canyon fork is a more aggressive climb to the peaks with amazing vistas.

PANTS. Do not wear shorts. Bring lots of water, or have water ready when you get back to the cars. I had 48 oz of water and it was not enough. Needed almost twice that. Start early and keep a good pace, it gets hot fast. Repelent is always a good idea and possibly sun screen. First aid kit/mole skin is always a good idea. There are rattle snakes this year, so be on the look out.

Fantastic Trail. I have done it many times--It is a steep climb, but it is definitely worth it. I would recommend going in the fall or early spring.

Hard hike for a semi annual hiker. But very beautiful and worth it. Brush is getting over grown though making it hard to walk through.

A lovely trail! If you go right at the first fork it's more advanced, but if you go left it's more level and a good time to take kids or dogs on.

Great fun for the whole family. The loop is a lot of fun. Lots of ups, downs and turns. No big hill to grind up.
