A good amount of history to this park. Trails are mowed grass, gravel and unimproved trails in the wetlands. Some nice views along the old canal and Scioto River and also lots of farmland.

Very well maintained trail. Flat, easy walk. Loads of birds, crickets, grasshoppers, and dragonflies. Much if it is in the sun so don't forget your sunscreen.
From the parking lot, take the Wetlands Trail, merge onto Richards River Trail, then continue the loop on the Towpath Trail back to the parking lot.

Walk here all the time. Almost weekly at times of the year. Well maintained and plenty to see. Walk along the river. Skip rocks. Fish. I believe they are putting in a wooden walkway and a play area for kids now.

Beautiful. Remnants of the canal mix with abundant wildlife. Here only briefly and saw large numbers of frogs. The Scioto River was also a breathtaking from the park. This is one to come back to and enjoy.

Very quaint and peaceful away from all the noise. If you want some time to stroll and enjoy nature this is a nice area to visit. Not too big and busy as the others 😁

Historical park with a piece of the old tow path present. There are a couple of walking paths along the river. Fishing and bird watching are available as is a shelter house.
