Abrams Eye Institute staff travels to my location and has medical assistants and Doctors. My doctor was Dr. Shah and I had seen him a few times before. I was checked and right away was ushered to an exam room where a competent assistant took my medications list and brought it up to date. We did a vision test quickly and she pronounced that it was a 'no change' from the previous one 6 months ago which was good news. Following that she performed a glaucoma eye pressure test finding that both eyes were the same and her words were 'perfect'. She then ushered me to a dark exam room where I sat for a few moments and letting my eyes dilate naturally. Then Dr. Shah and we talked a bit, catching up since the last visit. Then he did the retina eye exam in both eyes to determine if I had any diabetic retina damage. He indicated a "no change" which was good since it was perfect last time. We set up a 6 month schedule for the next visit and he exited. I walked out to the check pout place and secured a 6 month from now. I then left the building, happy as a clam, because the entire visit had taken less than 20 minutes, including the short wait! I have never been in and out of a doctor's office in that short of time ever and hey, I am an old guy, and have been to my share of doctor's offices. All of the assistants were courteous, helpful, and took my data and performed their jobs with competent behavior! Dr. Shah is a great eye physician, and his demeanor is great when dealing with us patients. He and the staff cared for me and that made me happy and confident that I had gotten what I came for: a great eye exam!

Staff was respectful and knowledgeable. I was brought to exam room (which is immaculate), history taken and preliminary vision test done. Waited 5 min for Dr Shah He greeted me and proceded to do eye exam. He was attentive to any questions I had and completed the exam for my issue in just 15 min.
As a new patient i was so happy to have chosen Dr Shah as my optomolagist. I would definitely give this office and Dr Shah 5 stars

I am always pleased with how I never wait long. Dr Depalo saved my eye! He diagnosed what was wrong and quickly got me an appointment with a retina specialist. I have followed up with him after and feel comfortable that he is on top of any issue I may have. The office is friendly and professional. Great place.

Very efficient, on time appointment. The staff were courteous. The doctor was excellent. Abrams Eye Institute was the best choice. Everything was explained in detail as to the procedure . Dr. Depalo is always very professional and willing to listen and answer any questions I have. With me having glaucoma he makes sure my treatment makes me feel as comfortable as possible. Five stars for sure. The staff is wonderful also. Thank Dr. Depalo and staff.

Kept appointment time with no long wait, received a very good exam for my new prescription, then a thorough health exam of my eyes. All of my questions were answered and concerns alleviated. Highly recommend!
