Empire Air Conditioning & Heating LLC

Our AC unit died while Pahrump was recently experiencing a major heat wave. The problem turned out to be bigger and more involved than first anticipated, and we experienced about 3 weeks without AC service 1/2 our home.

PRO TIP, just in case you’re ever too hot… we do have two units, so we set the unit worked and serves 1/2 the house a bit cooler and used fans to help circulate the air, managing to keep the 1/2 of the house served by the busted AC unit at about 82F. We also kept the blinds closed.

Empire Air to the rescue! Finally! Just in time for temps to drop from about 115F down to 69 the other night. 😀

John did a great job of getting the busted unit fixed at a fair price and in a timely manner. We will have him come back for service calls. 😀

We have been using Empire for years and have been very pleased. The last time we had them come out we had been noticing that every time the air conditioner started up the lights would dim a little. They put on what they called a hard start kit. It solved the problem, no more dimming lights.

By the way the technician was very nice and informative.

I could have cried tears of joy. We had someone else ‘fix’ our a/c three weeks ago. Empire’s technician was friendly and helpful and fixed the issue (Different issue I guess) this time. I imagine a/c guys are pretty busy And they work outdoors mostly so I don’t know where we’d be without them. This one was so nice.

empire has done very good work on my ac system when it failed due to a worn compressor, now my house stays nice and cool thanks empire.

Absolutely avoid Empire. When I moved into my house, I realized it was not cooling below 80. Called Fidelity Home Warranty and they sent out Empire. After no call no shows, and arriving way outside of the window I was told each time, Empire kept telling me the system was fine while barely inspecting anything. Called Servco and they were able to diagnose and went the extra mile, even getting into my crawl space to check the vents.

Avoid Empire at all costs.

Wel, I tried to use Empire’s business. Poor management, or whoever runs the front office, made that Impossible. Previously talked to a tech their who said they could install my swamp cooler. Great. Awesome. Some time later, after saving the money, I called empire. The woman who answered said she didn’t have an answer for me and would go ask someone telling me should would call me back. She never did. I called the next day. She said she hadn’t asked anyone and would get back to me the next day. Three days later I call and leave a message. Now a week later I call back. She informed me that she tried to call me but I had no voice mail. Both were lies. Voicemail set up, answered every call including spam since last week because I’m living in a 100 Degree house. Then she adds after I ask about metal fabrication that their (apparently only?) shop tech moved to another state. It was amazing timing. I mean what are the odds? And now they are a company that installs ac and swamp coolers, making their own duct work, yet don’t have a shop to actually do anything like that or do any metal repairs. They must have a genie hanging around. Only possible answer.

This woman needs to be fired. I will never use this company and would never ever recommend anyone ever using them. This woman’s laziness, attitude, lies, and rudeness has not only hurt me but made it so my son cannot spend time at my house. Thank you empire.

Asked Empire to recharge 410a minisplit. Service rep didnt even know you have to turn refrigerant tank upside down so valve is on bottom to get liquid not vapor. Cost me $75.00 to tell him how to do it. Had to use my Yellow Jacket manifold gauges because he didnt have any. Total loser amateur company.
