American hub style with good food and service! Recommend this restaurant. Stuck in a storm, we wouldn’t have expected we could have such yummy food in North Pole. I ordered a shrimp pasta and it tasted good. My friend ordered something with halibut. Kenny was a charming person who was with full of story.

Husband enjoyed the place so much he wants to make it his regular goto restaurant! He's been looking for a place since we moved here in the spring. Thank you for being his goto spot!

Atmosphere was pleasant. Service was excellent. Food was great. Good to receive what you pay for. Nice to see the Luna. She is always pleasant and welcoming.

The people who gave 1 star reviews need to get off their horse. This place screams rural Alaska. It's old and dated, but the food is good and the staff was very friendly. The rustic feel on a snowy day is great. If you want Applebee's, go to Anchorage. The chicken cordon Bleu is really good.

We had a great time. I was hoping and expecting for more Christmas decorations or themes being the Elf's den, but that's just me. We had a great waitress/bartender and the food was excellent. It was a bit pricey, but most things are up here.

Went for dinner last week and it was a surprisingly cozy environment! Ordered calzones and they are massive!! Definitely coming back

This hidden gem in North Pole is phenomenal. Jenn and Ki were not only a pleasure to speak with but definitely were the foundation for a comfortable and welcoming atmospheric in Elf’s Den. Highly recommend everyone gives this place a try. If they do disappoint, it happens. Give them a second try. It won’t be a repeated offense for we’re all human.

Kiddo and I had dinner there, fast friendly service and the best from scratch pizza around in my opinion. Thanx Tony and crew

This is the second time my family and I have had dinner at the elf's den and let me just say...yes!!!! Yes yes yes...the service is amazing and the food is so good... the prime rib is so perfect. The house special was amazing!!! The kids eat all their food and the vibe is great for a family dinner...💖

Great place to take your date, or your whole family for a fantastic meal. For North Pole Alaska, I was very pleasantly surprised at how well-executed the food was. The filet mignon and chicken cordon Bleu were top-notch. Best meal I've had in a restaurant in years.

The halibut fish and chips was delicious, the atmosphere was light, clean an airy, and the waitstaff was friendly! If you haven't been recently, go back!

Try the fried pickles and mozzarella sticks! A calzone can feed three people! They were huge! Seriously - they're NP top shelf.

The menu is large, fits many appetites.

The food has large portions, and the price is good compared to other places.

You can spend 20 dollars and easily have lunch the next day. I spend 25 bucks at McDonald’s and I’m still hungry. (Not a joke, McDonald’s food seems to be made of saw dust or something.)

The food itself, tastes incredible. I don’t eat out a lot, but I will definitely make this place a regular.

Relaxing environment, excellent service, their wings, lasagna, cordon Bleu, tornado, pot stickers, and kimchi salad are delicious.

Always friendly service. A great place to have a bite and chill out after a hard work day. A place for the true hard working Alaskan. Or a calm night away from home visiting the great North. If you want box store style food this is not that. If you want a wonderful place to kick back have a great bite to eat and a conversation without having to talk over all the noise look no further. It doesn't take 20 years and 4 visits to like the elf's den. It takes an ability to read the menu understanding there is no dessert on the menu.

The place has a jukebox just like almost every bar in town if you want a better bar atmosphere download the touchtunes app to your smartphone and play some music or get off the barstool and go to the jukebox and play some music or give the bartender some money and ask him or her to play some music, Oh wait you have to pay for that! Just cause you bought a beer you think music should be free? Go back to whatever bar you frequent that plays the radio or internet music and stay away from my local bar ya flipping snowflake. Update it's way nicer after the remodel and Tony owns it now Luna was long overdue to retire.

What a wonderful meal, the place is very nicely decorated, very clean. Actually I was impressed with the overall atmosphere.
They were not very busy , was only a couple people there and most of them were in the lounge, which is seperate from the dining area.
So no wait, we got there about 6 30, they must be short handed as the owner was performing hostess and waitress duty. She was so very nice, polite very cheerful.
We ordered one appetizer to share, cheese sticks they were made fresh. Cut cheese to length batter and fry! I was impressed!!! So very good, best I've ever had.
The food came , it was mostly perfect, food was hot and so very good. Prices were not too bad. We had one problem with one one the plates. The owner/ waitress took care of the problem!!
It was a wonderful dining experience I will surely go back again.

I love coming to the Elf’s Den, I’ve lived in the area for 20 years and this is one of my favorite places. The staff has always been super friendly! It’s a smaller restaurant and they treat me like family. The food is good, the drinks are great and their pizzas are some of my favorites! Luna is a sweetheart and even though she’s always hard at work she always comes out to say hi. I make sure to bring friends and visitors here every chance I get.

The food is so fresh and amazing. The staff are all great people and very friendly. I do not drink but they seem to have a full bar with anything you could want. They can be ordered for delivery thru doordash to have a great meal brought to you. Great for a date night, family pizza night, or just to play a few games of pool with buddies.
